loose screen on the iPhone 6?

Does the top left corner of the iPhone 6 have a slight give when you press on it? Every other corner seems to be solid except for that one corner. I will avoid pressing on it but my concern is that it may become loose in the future.

They will replace it. But be aware that the new one will have the same issue. I exchanged my iPhone 6 128 GB six times. All of them had this problem. I kept the one with the smallest issue. But this will definitely be my last iPhone, cause Apple seems to be not interested in fixing this. This problem is out there since the iPhone 5. it's because of the really bad fixation of the display. The display is too loose. No Galaxy or Sony phone has such a problem.

I sent videos, a letter and a picture of an opened 5s to Apple (and I highlighted the areas where the problem is), but I never got a response or anyrhing.

Apple is not on a good way. The software became much weaker, the devices come with a lot of hardware problems...

It's more mass production, not class production.

The only thing I don't get is that there are so many users out there who say that they don't mind this 'clicking' or a loose display.

But how can this be ok if you paid 899 Euros for a phone?????

Best advice is probably to put the phone, immediately out of a box, in a hard case and be cautious of not stressing the shell while you do so. Due to the very thin design, the areas around cut-outs may be vulnerable if you plan to carry your phone in your pant's pockets (tighter pants, I.e. Jeans). Based on the youtube movie, the way you put your phone in your pocket--screen vs. shell against your leg-- may also impact how the phone bends and stresses the shell causing or perhaps removing the clicking noise?

FYI, I have this issue and indeed started after a night out in which I carried the phone in my jeans. I have an appointment at the Apple Store next week....

My brother bought my a UAG case that shipped on the same day the iPhone arrived (Sept. 19)

The first iPhone had the clicking right out of the box. The replacement iPhone has recently started clicking - the iPhone has always been in that case since I got it. Also, I don't wear very tight jeans (or other tight-fitting pants), and since it was discovered that iPhones can bend with the right amount of pressure, although unlikely, I always take my iPhone out of my pockets before engaging in any such activities where the iPhone is vulnerable.

I will go to Apple if the clicking gets as bad as it was on my initial iPhone.

How long did it take for the 2nd phone to start clicking?

Watching the YouTube movie and how easily the girl can remove the issue it appears that it takes just a bit of stress on the shell to set it off--no need to truly bend it.

I will wait for my visit at the Apple Store and see what they recommend ....

UPDATE: I went to the Apple Store and they did exchange the phone, no questions asked. The employee said it was due to a manufacturing defect, the glass did not bond properly to the LCD. I asked if it has been a common issue and he said not very common for iPhone 6, he said he saw 2-3 iphone 6 with the same issue.

Anyway, new phone for me, the process was easy, I had a iCloud backup, so smooth sailing and walked out of there with a new phone in half an hour. I will post again if I will have problems with the new phone, so far so good. FYI, I have now the phone in a case.

Screw that you shouldn't need to put your phone in a bulky case to protect it from regular use. Maybe apple should give these cases away with the phone or fix the issue with a new design and upgrade everyone for free! I'm really irritated with this problem my first phone shipped with loose glass and my new phone is now loose. Im thinking they are extremely fragile if this damage happened to the first phone during shipping. If i wanted phone problems I would have gotten a galaxy for less than half the price!

APPLE GET IT TO GATHER AND FIX THIS

The Genius at Apple told me that they do not replace iPhones with refurbished ones, in fact, they don't have refurbished iPhones to give out. All replaced iPhones are scrapped. So I'd like to believe my phone was replaced with a brand new one, and if they do have refurbished iPhones, November seems too early to have refurbished ones.

The iPhone was fine up until a few weeks ago, when the bottom rought started making a clicking sound. This is my second iPhone 6, and the second time that the screen has got loose.

Bad news, tonight Touch ID stopped working in the newely replaced phone. Different issue now. I was on Chat with Apple technical Support and it sounds I may need a replacement again. Going to the Apple Store in a few days. This is the 2nd time in two weeks. And if they replace it, it would be the 3rd phone.

I have been patient, but definitely disappointed.

I had the same problem with my first iPhone 6 purchased in mid-december. I didn't notice at first because I had it in a case. When I removed it I noticed the bottom corners were loose and became looser over the course of the next few weeks until I could hear a clicking noise. The corners would seem to seat properly for half a few hours and then work loose again. I replaced it at the apple store, despite the fact that the tech could not replicate the issue. Things were great until I took the new one out of the case and the lower right corner was loose. Very occasionally the left corner will move slightly. It is much tighter than the first model and I do not plan to return to the Apple store until it works loose enough to be reliably replicable. At the moment it works loose about once or twice a day although I am sure it will worsen as the first phone did. Incidentally, the first phone also had issues with correctly orienting the screen on an intermittent basis. The new one does not. I am also waiting to attempt a replacement on the second phone because I am sure that Apple is quietly working it out behind the scenes and that a few months from now, I will get a phone with better fit and finish.
