new iPhone 6 and red screen

I today just bought a new iPhone 6 64GB and i wanted to restart it because i wanted to back up all my old messages into my new iPhone. Now its stuck on the apple logo and after a minute or so the screen turns red and goes back to the apple logo. Can some one please help me. Do i have to bring it to a technician or is it something i can fix.

Thanks for the help.

The same thing happened to me this weekend, something very similar to one of the users here, I used my phone all night and it died (something that rarely happens to me) but I used up all the battery juice, when I got home I plugged the phone onto my computer and the first signs it was getting messy was that the apps would crash, the text would look fuzzy at times. Come Sunday morning I was texting my friend and the phone finally gave up, I got the infamous red screen of death, after many attempts to put the phone in DFU mode it finally stopped working, took it to the Apple store and the genius that helped me said that this was the 3rd time that day that she had seen this!! She didn't know what cause this and now she just hoped her own iPhone wouldn't have the same issue in the future, even in front of her I got a blue screen so I got a replacement in less than 25 minutes.

So my advice to everyone, don't waste your time with all these people saying it's a simple fix and that it just needs the newest firmware!! Plain and simple THIS ISSUE HAS NO FIX! Take your iPhone to your local Apple store or call Apple customer care so they can ship you a new one.

Same problem here with my husband's iPhone 6 on 8.2, however mine, also on 8.2, is fine. The difference is, his phone has been replaced THREE times. Yes, replaced. Brand new phone. Yesterday, it had spotty cell signal and wouldn't connect to Wifi. Today, he can't even get it to turn on. On this most recent phone, he hasn't loaded any apps back onto it, because Apple told him that it has to be one of his apps that is corrupted. The only thing he has done is load his music and connect his Apple ID. I have to believe that it's one of those things. Has anyone else found a connection with music files/iTunes or your Apple ID?

Try doing a hard reset by pressing power and home button, if that does not work then you will have to do a restore (hopefully you have a backup) to do this follow these directions: Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support. If that does not work than you may have a defective iPhone in which case you can bring it into apple for a new one (assuming it is under warranty). -Best of luck, zerotwo77
