You should absolutely get the tool that best meets your needs. And, Samsung does seem to have, at least for now, resolved the exploding issue.
Turning it open by Default seems like a good thing for those who want this. But for people like us, who don't want to use it would like to see an option to disable it, it's called Flexibility.
