Box says pink, but it's not pink... Pink is predominately red or on the RGB scale: 255, X, X, or has a hue of 0. The color we're seeing here, however, is not fully red, actually, has some taken out... And has a hue of 22... Orange...

Well that's just too scientific........LOL The box still says Pink. I just couldn't bring myself to buy it.

There must be a problem with the scratch resistance vs the change in angle of gorilla glass three. the scratches i've noticed on my iPhone are all around the curved section of glass. I've not even carried my phone around yet. it's been on my desk on it's back since i've received it (waiting for a case), yet it has a tiny yet deep gouge on part of the curved section and 2/3 scratches around other curved sections. It seems like a problem with the tempering of the glass, and definitely something apple should look into.

I think I've determine what's scratching the corners of my phone. It's one of two things: sliding the phone in and out of my pocket and/ or walking with the phone in my pocket. Literally my corners were scratch-free yesterday morning, but I had to walk across a parking lot with the phone in my pocket and I slid it in and out twice to get it there and now there are scratches on 3 of 4 corners. Screen protector wouldn't have helped me there since the corners are still exposed. This is getting pretty ridiculous. Don't put your phone in your pocket!!!

I've just called Apple and they've offered me a free leather case to compensate me. It's a bit late, but better than nothing I guess.

I have the leather case and think it's really nice. I'm sorry it took some scratches to get one free, but I think you'll like it.

Did they replace the screen or iPhone too?

There is no Screen Only Replacement as yet, so they must have replaced the iPhone.

Good explanation and it's very likely you are right also. I got my iphone 6 yesterday and i havent dared to carry it with me today.

I went right to the store and bought the leather case Dark Blue and the invisible shield Glass and put them on right after removing the original plastic.

I'm (like some others here) very careful with my devices and would hate it if i had gotten a scratch on it. Even if the scratch isnt the glass but once its visible it would annoy the **** out of me. Still even with all this protection on the area around the touch button, top part and edges are not protected. I never felt like this with my iphones but i'm actually sort of scared to put it in my pocket now.

The phone and the screen is just gorgeous and so is the Leather case.

On the other hand if i do get scratches i have 2 week of return warranty 🙂

Get yourself a holster to keep your phone in when it's not in use. I've always cased my phones, and then holstered them. I clip the holster to me belt and it's nice and safe.
