iPhone 6 screen easily scratched?

Have been taking EXTREMELY good care of my 6+, but the corners already have visible scratches. Anyone else experiencing this?

Add me to the list of people affected. I have a cluster of scratches and they are right in the middle of the screen.

I have never placed the phone face down and I never have anything else in my pocket with the phone. I never use screen protectors on the numerous iPhones and Android devices and now my iPhone 6 64GB Space Gray has all these scratches.

Same here. I have a 16 GB Space Grey 6+. Noticed scratches in the upperleft corner between the upper bezel and the screen. My brither has the same problems. Noticed it after 15 days. You can only see it in the light. Info:

Same issue here!

3GS + 2 years = few scratch

4S + 2 years = any scratch

5S + 1 year = any scratch

6 (64gb grey) + 15 days = scratched like a demolition derby car...

And the Genius bar answer that it's not covered... really disappointed by this iPhone.

Add me to the list too...

I am most curious as to why there are different responses by Apple through this thread seemingly dependent on the owner or the store.

As I said earlier, I went to the Genius Bar and was only asked if I wanted the screen replaced or a new phone. "We want you to be completely happy with your new phone" was all I got. No challenges, questions or hesitation.

Now the replacement phone, 2 weeks in has no cracks/scratches.

For those that claim that this is only happening to a few out there, let me tell you my opinion.

-I also have been an i Phone user since 3GS launch and on. My 3GS is a little scratched over the years but this is very logical due to the glass technology back then and the vast punishment it has been through all those years.

-My next device, a black 4, sustained a few minor scratches and dents on the back glass but not so severe.

-Next came the 4S, in white this time, and this was a beauty. I used it for 12 hard months, most of the time on a bike getting dirt and sometimes heavy rain in my side bag but when I sold it, it was like new. I was using a speck case from now and then but I had decided that I would never compromise the quality of the screen with a protective film again.

-My two devices I have purchased after the 4S were a 5 White and a 5S black. Those have had no issue with the screen till now, still no screen protection used.

-It seems like many people are not noticing the small scratches on the 6 and 6+. I have used some samples in local stores and played a little with 6's that my colleagues have got recently and all had small hairy scratches, ALL. The funny thing is that none of them ever noticed cause you cannot make them out if you are not looking for them, at least in the beggining

-If this goes on through the yearly use though, the screen is going to look like lots of tiny scratches and eventually it is going to be too noticeable.

I was planning on buying my new 6 64 but this alone makes me hold my horses. I don't understand why my wifes NOTE 4 is tortured and the screen feels like new and my colleagues i Phone 6 glasses are starting to look used. I don't see any official answer on this so I hope it will be deal with in the months to come.

I created a form in Google-Docs where you could enter the data of your scratched iPhone.

You find the form here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/16BCZkB48si0MkYvP-XLlF2H8SHed6v6kAqjQBz44xrU/vie wform?c=0&w=1&usp=mail_form_link

To find out the data for your phone use this link: http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html

I also added the data of all phones i found in this thread (so far there are 12 entries).

Maybe this could help to find out where the problem is...
