iPhone 6 screen easily scratched?

Have been taking EXTREMELY good care of my 6+, but the corners already have visible scratches. Anyone else experiencing this?

As I stated earlier, several hair line scratches on the top within a weeks use. No drops, no rough housing, I've been fairly careful with the phone out of fear of bending it.

Hi, I've been reading some webs and forums, it seems it happens with every new iPhone every time it comes out and it seems to be coating related, IF the scratches are light and thin (though they can be long..)

So, maybe using the phone will remove this earlier scratches.

I protected the 4S from the first days with a screen shield for a year or something, maybe the coating was gone with the shield and after that, for 3 years it was just the strong gorilla, and therefore it was scratch-free for the rest...

Just a theory ..

and here is how to apply a new coating layer to a smartphone:

https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/How+to+apply+anti-fingerprint+oleophobic+coating/96 82

It could be interesting doing a test with an old device, applying a think layer (3-4 as iFixit says) and then trying to make a litgh scratch.

Will it be answer?

But then, why all those videos of people trying to scratch an iPhone doesn't succeed making the lightest?

Fakes?

So you keep saying, which begs the question why have you been closely monitoring a 40 page thread about screen scratches if you don't have a problem? The only reason I found this thread was because I googled my problem. Are you also monitoring every other conceivable fault thread, eg battery overheating, home button sticking etc?

Simple:

1. Because I am interested in what people are experiencing and I actually help people on this forum (how many points do you have??)

2. Because I can

3. Because I think it helps to show that not ALL iPhone 6 screens are scratching

You have any other questions?

Add me to the list. 6+, Space Grey. Never had the issues on any other iPhone. Inexplicably getting scratches on the corners and on the screen. Hairline but annoying as heck. So disappointing. Apple Chat guy said he'd never heard of the problem. That's when I googled "iPhone 6+ scratches" and found this thread. I sent it to him so he can no longer say he's "never heard of the problem".

Let me join the club:

had iphone 4 and iphone 5 for 2+2 years, normal use nothing maybe one tiny, partially visible scratch at the bottom of the screen

Iphone 6: less than a week of very careful use, a visible scratch and no idea how/when I got it. Suspect the quality of the glass isn't as good as its predecessors. My wife has her iphone 6 floating in her purse and no scratch at all, maybe i was just unlucky.
