Have been taking EXTREMELY good care of my 6+, but the corners already have visible scratches. Anyone else experiencing this?

I agree. I faced the same denial with Apple India too. They simply refuse to accept the fact that there is a problem and instead have the odasity to blame us. Apple has completely lost it post Steve Jobs. Gone are those days when Apple used to innovate with better and superior products.

My Moto G 2nd Generations fares far better in terms of durability. I have serious doubts on where Apple is heading with such low end inferior products!!! 😐 😮😟

I have the same problem. I've only had my iPhone 6 4.7" for a few weeks and there are already lots of scratches on the screen, in spite of me being very careful with it, and keeping it in a protective case from day one. The scratches can only be from inside my pocket. This is less than I expected from the iPhone 6, especially as I had an iPhone 5 before and was very impressed with how well it lasted.

Can anyone suggest what can be done about it?

I am in South Africa, and a fair distance from the nearest iStore. I don't see any support email addresses on Apples support site, and the iStore has no direct contact details, and the Support phone number provided by Apple is useless. As soon as you select the option for iPhone support, they tell you co speak to your service provider. Why on earth would my service provider have anything to do with it? Even if there was anything they could do, they wouldn't because I bought the phone from the iStore not from them.

'Apple, please address this'. Just spoke with Senior Advisor Jerôme Serpenti (definitely not the employee of the month at Apple), and he claims we all have 'cosmetic damage'. According to him Apple only repairs or swaps devices if the user cannot use his device in the way other users can use their devices. He claimed Apple does not do anything with scratches, problems with the battery, problems with the screen or whatever. The only thing they repair are basically buttons and broken antennas.

The senior advisor also told me they will not research this problem, as 'everybody at Apple agrees this is cosmetic damage'. Oh well, this is the last Apple product I bought. Goodbye, Apple!

In six months - one year the phones with these problems will be unusable. It's very important that people document the problems, take pictures, report it to Apple and keep a record of all such communication. They will have to own up to this at some point and will not be able to get away with the "it's cosmetic" stance.

I'll get the iPhone 6 because I need to change carriers and need the upgrade. Android isn't an option for me. But I'll get it at an Apple store and walk down the mall to Best Buy and have them put on the screen protector on the spot. Never thought that would be necessary after the great experience with the iPhone 4s.

We do hope they understand our concerns but seems those people is trained to say "Cosmetic not covered by warranty".
I been through calling, online chat and A-Lab (Singapore Apple Service centre).
The more i go through this *****, the more i feel being insulted like I'm a FxxX person who rough used my phone and blame others.

It feels so insulted that I said the "FUXX" word loud in public about the screen at the Service centre.

Be it management or normal staffs, all said the same thing.

"You should put screen protector and cosmetic not covered." - My view is I buying a phone over thousand dollars for a gorilla-glass without a need of screen protector so feels and colour will be beautiful, isn't it what apple proud off?

"All screen are not scratch proof and only screen resistant"- that one of the most insulting reply as i repeating told them i only put in my empty pockets, how could a gorilla glass get scratched within a month under gentle environment? Must I need do a dust or chemical test on my pants or shirts or underwear to prove it normal dust? or prove that the dust from my handkerchief will scratch the "wonderful" screen?

Anyway, for me to move on...

Will use another one more week and think if:

I will live with a many many hair scratches phone,

Pay and change the screen then paste a screen protector,

Lastly just change another phone not involving the "Dropped" standard Apples.

Anyone from Singapore again?

Follow me go bang their tables?

Have mine one week and I already have one or two light scratches. I keep my 6 Plus in my fleece lined pocket, so crap like this should not happen period! I paid a **** of a lot of money for this phone and I'm extremely upset with Apples quality control. I guess Apple will not comment or offer any help, and the truth is we will still keep buying Apple products. If anyone from Apple is reading this I hope they do the right thing and investigate this issue.
