iPhone 6 screen easily scratched?

Something is up with my iPhone 6 Plus glass too. It scratches way too easily. I own both a Note 3 and iphone 6 plus, which should have relatively the same type of glass. One goes in each pocket, no keys or anything else. It's a perfect side by side scenario. No scratches on the Note which is almost a year old and big scratches on iPhone within first month. Iphone 5 that I had previously (2 years, same pocket, no case) is nearly flawless as well.

Is it possibile that the problem is relating to a stock of iPhone manufactured in a precise period of time?

That's why everyone is posting their phone details so it can be ascertained as to whether there is any pattern.

My hunch is that there was a problem in the manufacture of some of the screens. They are provided by at least three different suppliers. Maybe the screens produced during a particular time frame by one supplier had problems. The Reuters story describes the initial delay in producing screens and names the three suppliers.

Edited to add: I am also wondering if phones with bad screens got shipped to different regions. E.g., CalBear had reported on visits to the flagship store in San Francisco. There was another post that mentioned the East Bay. That is in my neck of the woods, and one reason I am concerned. Now in the most recent reports people are mentioning Sinapore, South Africa, etc.

I'm really hoping it was a bad batch of screens, with a problem that has been corrected and the newer phones won't have it. But that is hopeful thinking and the universe of reports is way too small to draw firm conclusions.

And there should be nothing wrong with people who have the problem posting the details.

Hopefully the effort of AppleInsider to contact Apple about the issue will get their attention, along with the info people have submitted to Apple support.

No, there is nothing wrong with people posting they have an issue. But polls will be removed and it's also likely links to a poll would be deleted as well.

This isn't the place to do something like this. You are in Apple's house, not your own. If you want to join a chat forum knock yourself out. This isn't a chat forum. It's a technical support forum, hosted by Apple.

You agreed there was something wrong with it when you registered yourself: Apple Support Communities Use Agreement

Since I registered in 2007, I didn't remember the details included in the fine print.

Mine 's only 2 days!!! and I just notice some scratches on the screen. This is SO disappointed . There is no gorilla glass in this devices.
