iPhone 6 screen easily scratched?

I know this is an older thread, but I waited just over 3 months to pick up the 6+ and am wondering if the "scratching" issue is still going on. I will admit that I put on a case immediately but have not decided if I will use a screen cover yet. At the 1 week date, of ownership, and so far no scratching on the screen. Any other stories of better quality screens or is the 6+ still having the easily scratched symptom?

You are inventing a fantasy. There is absolutely no evidence that Apple has changed anything about the construction of the iPhone. People obsessed with the issue have to somehow explain why most don’t experience it so they invent a scenario in which Apple secretly fixed the issue. This so-called issue has never appeared on the radar of any technical website like C|net or other sites that would jump on anything negative about Apple. The response from users obsessed with this issue is to claim Apple is paying journalists to keep it quiet. It’s simple human psychology.

This doesn't make sense....don't you see? Buy a product, in theory high quality, and you have to protected with thousands of things????

Is like if you are buying a car and then you put a cover on it...just in case the water do not take the colour out of the car.

Btw, i have an iphone 6, and with a minor thing the screen has been scratched to. Moreover, every one be carefull, because this screen is super fragile (in theory should flexible and better but not). Mi phone fell to the floor and the screen is completely broken.

Wired did mention it in their review of iPhone 6 — a scratched screen after only few days of use.

Later, in November, Apple Insider had an article about it, having seen the issue first hand. They included a photo of the scratched screen.

A simple search will point you to these.

...and there goes the beautiful design & feel of the iPhone 6; hidden in a case, with an un-seamless screen protector. Apple designs beautiful products, so shouldn't people be able to enjoy those designs without wrapping them in protective gear?

People can do what they wish just dont complain if you break it. Admire the design as it tumbles from your hand to the floor as has happened to so many others with unprotected phones.

Rain falling on a car is normal use.

An iPhone getting dropped is not.

Apple's revenue last year is estimated at $182 billion. Your purchases from Apple are about $120,000 last year. For every dollar you spent, other people spent $1,516,667. Meaning that your purchases represent only 0.0000659% of their revenue.

Do you really think your 'threat' to take your business elsewhere has any weight? And to be honest, if you've really invested that much in your infrastructure, choosing to take your entire business elsewhere over two iPhone 6s with scratches on the screens? That represents only, at most, about 3% of your purchases with Apple, and that includes the ludicrous '$1300' you say you sent on cases & screen protectors.

That is, IMNSHO, a unwise business decision.

But, hey, if it makes you feel better?

Yeah but I spent $600 on an iPhone. I should be able to repeatedly drop it face down on concrete and still be able to use it without any cosmetic damage.
