I really wish that just once somebody from Apple support would actually provide some support here. But, no, these are just discussions where we all share that we have the same problem that never gets fixed or addressed.

I have this issue on iPhone 5, iPhone 6, iPad 3, and now on OS X - all running the latest and greatest releases. Something is wrong in the core Safari code that causes this annoying and costly error on many large or complex (image heavy, dynamic, lots of javascript) websites.

I've been really frustrated with this problem and have tried everything including resetting iPad, network settings, clearing cache and history and nothing seems to fix it. It's making the ipad unusable. the site http://www.toyota.com/4runner/ is one that consistently reloads among others. It appears to be related to JavaScript as when I turn off JavaScript under safari settings some pages load ok. Toyota is not one of them as they heavily use javascript and the site is useless without it turned on. I've tested both an iPad 4 (2nd gen retina) and an iPad 2 both have the same issue with the url above.

This worked for me on my iPad mini with the same problem.. Try it in exactly this order

FIrst .. Go to settings .. safari .. And "clear history and website data.

THen close safari

GO to settings .. General ... And "reset network settings". .. You will have to renter your wifi router password after this

REstart your iPad holding the home button and power off key till you see the apple logo ..

let me know if it works so others will know too

I would like to point out that I've been experiencing this for about 6 months on my iPad air. I don't use safari. I'm seeing this same issue using google. To tell you how confident I am with Apple software releases? I'm still using 7.1.2 (11D257). My Air has been working flawlessly until about 6 months ago. I can't help but believe it has something to do with Apple and the Advertisement industry. You know those annoying adds constantly loading / running on your device. Makes me wonder if they are in bed with them in some form or another. I don't think the Apple devices can handle the increasing bombardment of adds. My two cents...doesn't happen on you PC does it!!! I'll be looking at other options in the future when updating my iPad device...my two cents.

I had the same problem with my iPad mini. This tweak seemed to work OK

Go to settings

General

Accessibility

Reduce Motion -switch OFF

I returned to the web pages that always caused the problem but everything worked fine. I wondered if videos may have been affected but YouTube works OK and in fact browsing the web appears smoother and quicker

I am by no means a techie, just tried things out by power of elimination and thus far the problem seems to have abated.
