iPhone 6 BlueTooth issues with iOS8

Ok here is my findings:

Tried 2 iPhone 5 units before iOS8 and no issues with Bluetooth (1 I had for 2 years and no issues in my car). Once updating to iOS8 the bluetooth didn't work well at all for phone calls but music connects fine. Strange issues with the unit automatically start dialling but not able to cancel call until you disconnected bluetooth.

Also incoming calls ring but unable to answer and seem to lock up so you have to disconnect bluetooth to hang up.

I tried everything listed in the forums here and what the Apple reps told me. It works for a short while until the phone gets turned off or synced with iTunes. Now I have a new iPhone 6 with iOS 8 and it worked initially before I started setting things up.

I did not restore from a back up, I started as a new phone. Once I installed all my apps (Not in iTunes, rather manually over the air) and changed settings on the phone (not sure if it because of changing settings or turning the phone off) it would not connect to bluetooth in my car anymore, well it does just for music. I have tried my wife's iPhone 5c and it seems to work fine with my bluetooth so it definitely has nothing to do with my vehicle.

Apple there is a definite issue here. Stop telling me and other people to contact my car manufacturer to fix the issue. It all worked fine before iOS 8. Something needs to be done ASAP or I will be returning my phone and jumping ship to an Android or Windows phone as much as that may pain me. I have been a loyal Apple customer for the last 7 years. If this is how you are going to treat me and other loyal customers, you will not keep us for long.

I am hoping someone from Apple is reading this. If so I am expecting to be contacted. We expect a resolution fast!

Got the same issue here exactly as described, audio but cannot make or end calls. Own a Mazda 3 2014. Tried the reset all settings advice which works but you have to do this every time you update the software, switch off the phone or heaven forbid connect it to ITunes. Never had these issues with IOS 6 or 7 on the 4S so obviously a software or hardware issue with the IPhone 6.

Wishing I never upgraded now :-(

Go to settings, general, accessibility, call audio routing, and put on automatic. This worked for me.

Having a Similar issue to everyone else in a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander.

It will stream music but if a call comes in then it drops the bluetooth and you cannot route it via the car.

This is on a iPhone6+

Previously

It worked well on a 5s with ios7 and started to fail when i upgraded it to ios8

I had phone pairing working fine as well as voice navigation for Google Maps working fine till I installed ios 8/8.0.2 - not sure which one undid it.

For sure, I had the same problem as what others have mentioned.

It seemed something to do with HFP.

I cleared all configuration (including pairing) from my car (Honda Accord 2011). Tried again - did not work.

Rebooted my handset (5c) - Tried again - did not work

Deleted "Google Maps" - boom - it worked like charm again!!!

P.S. - I have not added Google Maps again and tried again.

I am pretty sure this will only be temporary. Shut off your phone. Then try it again and tell us what happens.

restore phone as a new and do not use your apple id when you are asked.create a new apple id .now it works even when u restart the phone.my phone is a iphone 6 iOS 8.0.2.

Ive restored both phones as new but used the original Apple id's.

we shouldn't have to make new Apple id's, that's unfair of Apple if that's the best fix that they can come up with, they need to sort this asap.
