whatever you say (about the argue thing) my question has not been answered otherwise, I would not still be looking at the forum, I do not know where you get that... Only a few people have replied with actually experiences mostly trying to bend it themselves in there hand.... I'm not worried about that, bend anything with enough force, sure it will bend or break... My worry is strictly keeping it in my pocket normally as I have all my past iPhones. I am trying to find out more about & experiences with that issue, from as many people as I can.

No, that isn't what they said. He said they had been doing tests (not just what they showed onscreen) and they said nothing about not wanting to hurt it. And if you read tha blurb below it Squaretrade said it was the most durable smartphone made. I'm sure they checked for bending.

Your our mind is made up. With no substantive evidence than a YouTube video and some affirmations by people you don't know. So don't buy one.

How many have claimed? Do you have real numbers of people who have supposedly had their phone bend simply from being in their pants pocket? As I mentioned above, a guy in my office tried to bend his. He couldn't. If you took the time to watch the video of the CNN anchor trying to bend his iPhone, you'd have seen he couldn't, so it's clearly not nearly as easy as you seem to keep asking over and over and over and over. If you are that scared, just don't buy one. Simple really.

Millions of us will go with our lives, using and enjoying our unbent iPhone's whether you get one or not.

Blastic. Think about what you've just written. If it's hard to use brute force to bend the phone, how is it going to more easily bend sitting in a pocket? I suppose if it's in a very tight pocket and it's stressed in a certain position for a significant period, it's possible it could bend slightly. I would imagine just having a larger solid object in your pants, stressing against your leg would without question be uncomfortable and you'd likely move it to a more comfortable position. But maybe that's just me being reasonable.

I've had mine in my pocket since I got it last Friday. I sit most of the day :-( and my phone isn't bent.

here is a copy and paste from the article: CNNMoney received a test model and several staffers tried and failed to change its shape using brute force. (Though we might not have been trying hard enough: We are required to return the device to Apple in working condition.)

and again, I'm worried about keeping it in your pocket, not trying to bend it with brute force, some say it can happen in as little as a day, some haven't had it happen for several days.

and again, I'm waiting to hear from as many experiences as I can before making a decision.

again, I'm not talking about trying to bend it with brute force, I am concerned about it bending only because of keeping it in your pocket as some have claimed.

I do not want to make a rash decision not to buy one from just the few expeieces I have heard, thats why I am looking to hear more before making a decision, and hopefully some kind of statement from Apple.

again I dont know... thats why I am asking.. maybee the prolonged time in the pocket is different.. I dont know, again, thats why I am looking to hear more experiences... yours what the first to say you had no problem in the pocket... and I find that to be great news... and just to hopefully check off another worry of mine...was it your back pocket that you sit on or a front?

Use some rational extrapolation. If brute force can't do it, why do you think putting in a pocket would? What on earth do you do when your sitting that could be more damaging that brute force (please don't actually answer that. I don't want to know)?
