Do what you want with your property, but it's foolish to me to put an electronic device in your back pocket.
Especially if that's where you carry your car.
No, they won't lose anything. They can't possibly make enough of them to supply demand for some time.
Have you watched the CNN report on bending the iPhone 6? Have you gone back and looked at videos of the issue with the iPhone 5?
Do you think Apple is going to somehow completely redesign the iPhone and release a new non-bendable phone? Will Samsung or HTC do the same?
I know, maybe if they all go to smaller screens, like say 3.5", it won't be as big of a problem.
bending to this extent, this easy and is acceptable to the customers? I haven't heard about that..... for example iPhone 5s, 5c, 5, 4s, 4... you can't bend them this easily nor can the be bent by keeping them in your pocket... you know.. .the place 99% of people keep there cell phones for the past 15+ years?
Perhaps not, but, but it's much thinner and lighter, which is exactly what people asked for. So a little extra care and caution is wise, but not cause for mass hysteria.
Again, go back and look at coverage of the iPhone 5 in particular. Yes, you could bend it in your back pocket. People did it. Just go look.
im not asking for a phone that can in no way be bent, just one that will hold up just like the past iPhones in your back pocket... people have driven just a few hours with it in their pocket and they are significantly bent.... this does not happen on the 4, 4s, 5, 5c & 5s 's that I have owned.

Just because you haven't heard about it doesn't mean people haven't complained when they've damaged their phones. Trust me, they have.
And, on the occasions that I carry my phone in my pants pocket, I take it out when I sit down. Personally, I think belt clips are a truly great invention, though.
as easily as this new one? no.. I have had an iPhone 5 in my back pocket for at least 5 hours a day for the past 2 years, if its bent, its only slight and I can't see it... the same thing with the new iPhone it: can be bend significantly in just 1 day
This is a repost from this thread: Have you watched this: http://money.cnn.com/2014/09/24/technology/mobile/apple-iphone-bend/index.html?h pt=hp_t2
thats why I am asking, if there has been a phone that bends this easily to this extent and the customers had no problem with it

If you believe that to be the case, don't buy one or return the one you've bought. Makes no difference to anyone here.
all they talk about there, that I can see is not being able to recreate that youtube video bending it in your hands with brute force, it also mentions that they weren't trying very hard no wanting to break them or something.
I'm talking about the bending while its in your pocket.
I didn't think it would make a difference to anyone here If I did... not sure what you meant by that.... I'm not in an argument, just talking about the issue with the phone with others here.... its not my belief.. yet anyway.. I am asking questions here. I have not gotten mine yet, I am waiting to find out more about this issue...because it seems to be a potentially serious one.
This entire debate is simply goofy, beyond belief. A guy in my office finally decided he wanted to see if he could bend his iPhone. He said he really didn't care if it bent, as long as it kept working. Guess what? He couldn't bend it.
All you people moaning and whining and fretting and worrying and..........need to move on. It's simply not easy to bend your phone. I watched him try.
as I said earlier with that, to this extent AND this easily AND the customers having no problem with it..... I am trying to find out more about the issue.
how does this compare to the galaxy s4 or 5 or 6 or whatever the newest now, can it be bent in your pocket in just a few hours as some have claimed with the new iPhone?
