I don't think there is any need not to get the phone you want, just don't sit on it and use a case.
There are even companies giving them away for free - http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/blog/bendgate/
According to Forbes, the bending problem is real and subsequent tests show other phones don't experience it as much. http://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/2014/09/24/iphone-6-plus-bendgate/

I suspect that Apple's love of secrecy means that few of their latest items while in development ever get tested or even handled, by "real" people in real "about-town" situations. So in the past we have had the aerial problems with the then new iPhone 4 - "You're holding it wrong" said Steve Jobs apparently - now he might have said "You're putting it in the wrong pocket" !
I can see dozens of Chinese case makers frantically working on building solid, non-bendable iPhone 6+ cases - out in a few weeks max.
So if Sir Jonathan Ive ever sees this post - get a bunch of John/Jane Does in for the Apple Watch and make sure there no design quirks or potential usage problems likely to stay un-noticed - and thus avoid any further media frenzies.
To have one problem may be regarded as a misfortune; to have two will look like carelessness. (after O.F.O'F W. Wilde)

because of this problem Apple has to loose millions of dollar business i think...i already canceled my order..
You were spending millions of dollars 😮 how many iPhones did you order?
The word is lose, not loose.
Ya indeed this is not normal Pirmin911. You can show the mobile to the dealer. Someone previously mentioned hardware damage is not covered in warranty and thus u might not as be lucky. However, one more guy in this forum claimed he was offered iphone 6 instead by 6plus by Apple dealer and also they plan to refund the difference.
You should stay in school, and learn the difference between "lose" and "loose". Regardless, years ago a poster complained that his iPhone broke because he "sat on it improperly". I reminded him that there's no proper way to sit on an iPhone. That's still true.
I would have thought that for someone with a name like "Wahid" the subtleties of the U.S ? English language might be difficult to appreciate; especially for a person who might not have "English" as his first language ! We all know that which he means.

lol, it just because someone buys the one he cancelled doesn't mean that apple did not just loose $750-950 in gross revenue.... they are still going to sell one less overall.
One less.... out of millions. I'm not worried about my stock

All Forbes appears to be doing is reporting on a video that went viral and responses from other tech sites. They provide no particularly new information.

Maybe he would appreciate learning the correct word for future use.
Yes, that is true. Some people here, for some reason I can't fathom, seem take pleasure in being snarky and insulting, rather than supportive. There's no need to make fun of a non-native person's English. As you say, we all know what he meant.
Why can't people just be more kind?

The video of the gentleman bending his iPhone 6 Plus with ease, should not be a consideration, nor should the CNN journalist who had difficulty bending it. The questions everyone should be asking are as follows:
Based on a number of reports online, the phone being placed in front pocket with a few hours of exposure to everyday stress, can cause the 6 Plus to bend; therefore, a video of someone trying to forcefully bend the phone in an instant, does not demonstrate a "reasonable" amount of prolonged stress. Hence, the videos referenced above, are inconclusive in that regard.
What I consider to be a reasonable amount of stress in an everyday situation are as follows:
Some may consider all of these to be care-free situations, and I have to agree with that to a degree, but I don't consider them unreasonable. I've exposed my 4S to all of these situations with only a screen protector, and it's mint. I believe these are common lifestyle situations that provide a reasonable amount of prolonged stress for which the durability of any phone should be able to withstand. You shouldn't have to confirm to your device; it's supposed to fit your everyday lifestyle without compromise.
I've heard someone mention, "Gentle Care" should be taken with the iPhone 6 Plus. IMHO, Gentle Care=Fragile, Handle with care. I believe a sensible amount of care should be taken with any phone, but worrying about whether my next pair of pants will bend my phone is not sensible or practical.
Some are saying, they no longer store their phones in the pocket, but you may not always be in a situation, where taking your giant phone in a public, is a good idea. The holstering alternative is another band-aid solution, which forces you to share with the world that you're carrying a giant iPhone 6 Plus.
To be fair, it's too early to draw any conclusions as my questions from the first paragraph, have not been answered to any degree of absolute certainty. It's speculative at this point with too many unknowns; it's difficult to assess what conditions these iPhones are truly being subjected to. However, completely dismissing the possibility that this phone can easily bend with reasonable everyday prolonged stress, would be also be premature- unless you've actually purchased the phone, and subjected it to prolonged stresses that you consider reasonable, resulting in no compromise to the structural integrity.
The bottom line: If you're considering the iPhone 6 Plus, and durability is a concern, the best way to find out is to actually purchase the iPhone 6 Plus, and then answer the first three questions; however, the risks may be whether your retailer or carrier will accept the return if it bends, and what restocking fees you may be subjected to. I would find out about those risks, prior to purchase.
Do you have any links to support any of that?
If your normal habit is to bend objects by placing them in pockets with insufficient space to accommodate the motions of normal life (sitting down etc) I would consider some other phone, or bigger pockets.
