iPad 2 upgrade to iOS 8 causing performance issues?

That is all lovely information for users that have working devices. However I am not holding much hope for Apple to "fix" the performance issues any time soon.

My iPad 2 is now like many others here not running properly following the upgrade to iOS 8, its slow to boot, yes I have tried a hard boot too, very unresponsive, it freezes and to move from WiFi to the cellular network I have to turn it off and on again, as it does not recognise it has a cellular network.

Same bunch of issue there. Usuability very poor, lag time, app crashing, mail stuck, .... In a word, the worst update ever.... I will try to restore it to 7.1.1 if I can.... Apple, this one you could have avoided....it is not professional at all.

I've exactly the same issue with my iPad2. It's unusable now and no option for coming back to iOS 7. iOS 8.0.2 doesn't correct the problem.

It seems the only think we can do is to wait for iOS 8.1, hopping the performance issue will be solved.

I've raised a ticket at www.apple.com/feedback and I recommend to iPad 2 users to do the same for letting know to Apple we have a serious problem...

I too am having problems with my iPad since installing the recent upgrade, pages must reload constantly and battery life reduced tremendously! My iPad worked great before so I am kicking myself for installing this!?!? I did submit my problem to the apple/feedback link provided in earlier comments, hope their reading this!!!

Soution: update to iOS 8.0.2 for bug fixes

IOS 802 is what I did install?

i am not certain what parallel universe you are from, but in this universe that is not a solution. At best 8.0.2 is a meeker bandaid.

Ditto ! The Ipad 2 & iOS 8 debacle is frustrating. and so is that complaint page,

No submit feedback button anywhere!! I used your link and this is where it takes me...I just want Apple to acknowledge these issue and give us feedback that they are working on fixes!! That is not too much to ask!!

I tried to do the same but I have no "Submit Feedback" or "Submit" or an "Enter" button. Any suggestions???

The ios 8 killing iPAd 2 AND the Feedback page with no SUBMIT feature IS VERY IRRITATING!!!
