iPhone 6 Plus pre-order delivery estimates

I'm hoping someone with a crystal ball might be able to answer this question. I pre-ordered the iPhone 6 plus(Space Gray 64g) at 5:00am, on September 12th, from Apple.com. I'm still showing an estimated delivery time of October 13-20th. I've previously always pre-ordered, by phone, through At&T and had my phone delivered on launch day. Has anyone ever had their estimated delivery date "moved up? Or has anyone had it moved up on this iPhone launch? Is anyone getting tired of Apple never having enough product or underestimating the potential demand? Maybe it's just me but it's getting old. Any genuine thoughts? I'm new at this waiting 4 weeks for delivery thing. Many thanks from CA.

I order it today, around 4 a.m (NY time) and the order is still processing. So I guess I will wait until Christmas with my old Iphone 4 !

Day 23 and waiting . . . . in the meantime, grab an umbrella drink, click this >> link << and close your eyes and mellow out for a few minutes. I'm doing the same right now . . it's 5 o'clock somewhere (7:30am MST, 3:30 in Amsterdam - close enough)

@GeraldEd66. Well, you know I'll be here waiting with you until you get your phone. As for the music..that's some great stuff right there! If I listen to the entire thing right now, I'll get to mellow and not make it into work. But I'm definitely playing that all the way through when I get home from work today! Really good stuff!

Within 12 hours, my phone went from "preparing to ship" to "shipped" status on Apple.com! I got an email saying my expected delivery is 10/28, which is in the window. The tracking states it's in ZhengZhou, CN today. When I go to UPS, it is giving me the option to pre-sign for delivery, so I don't' have to be there. I've never seen that before. Perhaps that's how some people are having their phones just left on their porch?

@whiteboydude. Thank you for the info. Believe it or not it does help us a bit when we know if you're located in the U.S., what state and whether you ordered through your carrier or Apple. When questions pop up we're better able to help! At this point, all anybody wants are the darn phones to ship! With production ramping up on the 6 Plus, we have to try and hope that it helps us, more than China, and that the phones get ordered quicker!! 🙂

@Laniajaj. Thank you for that information. It's helpful to others. Very interesting that you only recently ordered from AT&T and your phone has already been shipped. There are still so many, who ordered through AT&T in September, who have November shipping dates and no updates. Regardless, congrats but please check back as others may have questions for you!

@lalagirl, Well congrats! I don't remember the UPS option you mentioned but it makes sense that that's why people's phones are being left on their doorstep..although a few co-workers of mine had their phones left and didn't "ok" UPS to leave them. Who knows?!? Anyway, my phone did just about the same thing; it went from Processing to Preparing to Ship to Shipped within 24 hours. It was crazy! I hope we see others phones do the same thing!!

Great news that many people are getting their phones Shipped! I hope mine ships soon! Checked order status and its still processing.

Ordered 9/28 through apple web site and the estimated delivery is Oct 28th- Nov 4th.

Im ready to get mine because everyone kids around with me at school asking me if i got my phone yet. I pull out my iPad mini and tell them yes. The funny part is that at least two people really believed it was the iPhone 6 Plus lol
