I think I figured out how to fix this!

I have a Kia Soul. I had previously had 2-- iPhone 4S phones connected via Bluetooth. I tried numerous times to connect my new iPhone 6 to the Bluetooth and I was stuck with the the Bluetooth searching for Devices...the wheel just kept spinning, and spinning.

I noticed that my car wanted to find my old 4S phone...So, I deleted the paired phones in the Car's settings, then I reset the Car to the Factory Settings...then I went one step further and connected my phone to my car using the USB cable.

After I reset the car to the Factory Settings...all of a sudden, my iPhone 6 found the Car's Device! I was pairing in seconds!

1. Delete all paired phones (if your car has a USB port, connect your phone)

2. Reset to the Car's bluetooth to "Factory Settings"

3. Your Device is now DISCOVERABLE.

I wish you luck!

Comfort in #'s. Thought I was just missing something obvious. 6 plus can't find bluetooth stereo system for my to sync.

It will pair with my car. I can dial from the car, but as soon as it rings once it reverts only the phone as if nvr paired. I then started over. deleted all devices on car and from phone. Then the phone couldn't find the car to sync. Now it's synched but having the same problem i originally had. Doesn't keep the call on hte car system.

Yes, I'm using IOS 8.0.2

C'mon!

Add me to the list of those with Bluetooth issues. Both my car (Grand Cherokee, UConnect with latest firmware) and my Plantronics PLT Legend headset having issues.

Apple suggested that I reset the phone and that actually did restore the headset's functionality, but only for a few hours. While I can talk on the headset, I have to use controls on the phone to answer, hang up, etc,

I hope that the talk of this being address in 8.1 is true. I would appreciate confirmation of that from Apple. In the meanwhile, if anyone has a fix for the 6+ and Plantronics PLT Legend, please share. :-)

Same issue here in iOSA 8.1. I can't properly connect to:

- Hands-free car audio bluetooth

- Bose bluetooth speaker

sometimes my iPhone 6 pluS connects, sometime doesn't and sometimes connects but the audio doesn't work.

Also I can't discover any Airdrop iPhones or iPads around me, though they (iPhone 5s and iPad 3) can discover me.

BLuetooth doesn't work!!!

My wife purchased and iPhone 6 plus, then she wanted it in white, so I took her original black iPhone 6 Plus.

However, I need my phone to connect to my Blue Tooth, and these phones don't do that.

The phones have the latest updates, we just purchased these a week ago...hence I'm considering a return.

I still have my Android which worked just fine with BT and only took on the iPhone so my wife could get the white phone.

My first iPhone 4 was a great phone, but my Android is much better than this new iPhone especially since it can connect to MULTIPLE BT networks at the same time...(ie. multiple cars, headphones).

I have tried the reset setting as suggested for the update, but still the problem exists.

Strange how Apple came out so quickly with an update for the phone just after launching it, but no update for BT even after all these complaints.

Where's the BT update Apple?

I'm have a feeling by the time the update comes out this will all be mute for me, as I will most likely be on my Android again.

It's such a shame...this could be a great phone if only the problems were fixed.

•••••• iPhone 6+ SYNC's FINE with Microsoft Sync in a FORD MUSTANG 2014 ••••••

And, I will bet it sync's fine with all other Sync loaded Ford vehicles. I synced mine with some assistance from Ford motor company and it was, to say the least, embarrassingly easy.

Turn car on

Turn radio on

Hide Phone Hard button (I have buttons not Nav Screen) on Dash

Use arrows to select CONNECT BLUE TOOTH DEVICE

Turn Bluetooth on Phone

Enter Bluetooth connection code displayed on DASH

HIT OK button on Radio Tune Dial

and Bill Gates is your uncle!

Worked just fine.

GOOD LUCK, hope this helps.

seemed to happen with a verizon phone in my case...

the solution was: 1) delete your verizon smartphone from the cars' bluetooth list

2) make your car discoverable via bluetooth

3) send the request for bluetooth pairing from your phone to your car

4) confirm by pressing ok in your car and your phone

that should solve the problem … ( your car shouldn't call an unknown number any more as soon as your phone connects to it via bluetooth ).

My new iphone 6 plus also cannot connect to my Bluetooth headset as well (iphone is less than 3 weeks' old). My iPhone 4s and iPad do not have this problem. They are all upgraded to the latest ios 8. Also, the first day I picked up my new iPhone 6 plus from Telus and found the mic did not work.Telus replaced it right away for another one and the mic of the new one worked wihout problem, whereas Apple at Chinook kept convincing me the issue is because of the plastic not being removed. I finally showed the guy the mic is still not working even I took the plastic off. He asked me to book an appointment to have their tech to look at it and the wait time was 3 hours!

My wife got her iPhone 6 plus last Sep and found from the web that her iPhone has camera issue just recently and is one of the phone that Apple needs to recall for fixing. She also bought the Mac book pro 13 inch top of the line model at the same time and luckily so far she did not find any major issue. I have been an apple product supporter for years but the recent customer service experience and the quality and quality control of the latest products just a bit let me down.
