Camera lock screen iPhone 5 not working properly after upgrade to iOS 8

I've got an iPhone6 running IOS 8.1.3 and have has this problem ever since I got the phone, none of the options suggested make any difference.

There have been a number of niggling little problems with V8, come on Apple get your act together this is not the quality we expect from you.

When are you going to have a fix for this problem ?

Today there is no solution to solve this problem. The only way is to reboot your iPhone.

But after I restore my phone from iCloud, the problem is less frequently.

The problem presists on 5S 8.1 in two ways:

After reboot eveything works fine till I use voice control to dial people. Since I use it two things happens:

1. Camera and Alarm Clock stops working from lock screen

2. Call and Anserwes SLOWS DOWN rapidly... it slows that much that after pressing someone to dial to it takes few seconds to see caller id (no way to hang up in case of mistake call-out before it connect to.)

Anyone knows how to fix it?

This problem is related to voice dialing. If you use voice dialing from the locked screen the problem appears. After a soft reset it works fine again, but if you use voice dialing from the locked screen it appears again.

Apple does nothing alongside with the keyboard lag problem. Both seem to be icloud related since even after a full reset, after inserting icloud account both appear again, despite the device you use.

I have a iPhone 6 with iOS 8.2 and this problem is still there.

If I turn on Siri and turn-off and turn-on the phone the problem disappear.
Like you say, until you use voice dialing, then problem is back (or if I switch off Siri).

This is not a problem on every phones.

Is this hardware or software related problem you think?

It is on all phone, but the problem is hard to reproduce. I don't have this problem each time I use voice control.

Yes.. problem still presists... on 5S 😟 Wait for 8.3

I Really think they dont care. The will not fix it and it seems to be clearly an icloud related issue since despite the device upon inputing your icloud login.

Looks like the 8.2 update fixes this problem, I checked the release note and there was no mention of this but it seems to work ok now.

Same problem with 8.2... iOS is turning to Android...

I thought so.. but unfortunately.. 5-6 time i use voice control and the problem shown up 😟 ..

I have had the same problem since I updated my iPhone 5S to iOS 8 (that's on sept 2014) and it hasn't been solved with any of the iOS updates. Does anybody know if 8.3 update has fixed this??? It's really annoying since I use the camera a lot of times and, as another user said, I miss a lot of things because of having to unlock the iphone first to start the camera app...
