Can't AirPlay mirroring since update iOS 8 on my iPad air and Apple TV latest software update, any solution?

At home, try restarting your router. I was checking everything else but overlooked that. After two hours that did the trick . Hope it works for others, too.

For the love of Steve Jobs, are you kidding me? I expected the iPhone and iPad iOS 8 behavior to be the same on both devices and spent 20 minutes trying to find that stupid mirroring option. Thanks for your tip Matt.

Probably because you have the oldest ipad compatible with ios 8. It is probably going to be like that forever unless you get a new ipad.

If you do get a new ipad make sure you are connected to the same wifi. Restart you Ipad(Hold off button) and your AppleTV (Settings>Reset)/plug it out, wait, re-plug it.
