The Health app won't work in iOS 8 after these steps. It will be fixed in our upcoming iOS 8.0.2 software update.

There is no IOS 8.0.2 out yet. There is no patch for iPhone5s.
This update is specific for iPhone6/6+ as indicated

I've updated to 8.0.2 and have no issues with LTE. I am in Southern California and AT&T is my carrier
Thanks for the reply. Yes, 8.0,2 is out already that's why I was able to update my phone but as I mentioned on my comments that I'm only having this issue with 5S, my iPhone 6 plus is fine.

8.0.2 is out. But if it's true that 8.0.2 is only for iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, WHY would it appear on devices that aren't 6 or 6 plus? I have two 6 phones and the update went fine. But the update also appeared on our iPad's, which I downloaded and that went fine as well.
You are correct rbrylawski. I was able to update my iPad, iPad mini with retina, iPhone 5, and iPhone 6 plus with 8.0.2 and no issues. The only issue I'm having is the LTE connection on my 5S.
Sorry about your 5s. I hope it's an easy solve issue.
Did you reboot your 5s? If you didn't you might try that. Since you own several i-Devices, I'm going to assume you know how to hold both buttons until the Apple logo appears reboot process.
Yes, I did the hard reboot by holding down the home and power button until apple logo comes out. I also did network reset because this usually fix any network or cell connection issues but still having the issue. Thanks for your comments rbrylawski
I'm guessing it's an AT&T issue. That would be my next avenue.

The fiasco with 8.0.1 and the last few days have been harrowing for Apple. Hopefully they are not compounding their woes by making more mistakes. Updates in a span of 24-hours are not good for Apple. 😟. If the updates do show up, being cautious and verifying what they are intended for would be better for the consumer.
It could be an issue with my carrier. I will take it to AT&T store tomorrow and have my SIM card replace. This will reset my account. Thanks again rbrylawski
Well, if it helps anyone, I can verify the updates went just fine on both iPhone 6 and two iPad's at my home.

Good luck!
yesh I've notice on T-Mobile that it's taking longer then usual to connect back to LTE after dropping down to 4G on my 6 plus
I'm having the same issue...I upgraded to 8.0.2 on my 5s on AT&T and now my phone won't connect to LTE service. My friend's 6 on AT&T connects to LTE without a problem.
I'm really disappointed in the quality of Apple updates lately. I should have stayed on iOS 8...I didn't have any issues.
I had this issues with my iPhone 6 plus but that was before the update to 8.0.2. What I did to fix it is I went to AT&T and had my SIM card replaced. This enabled my account to reset. I will go to AT&T store again for my 5S and see if it'a going to fix this issue even if I'm not sure that it could be related to the latest update. It's worth a try.
