My phone looses the connection constantly few seconds after i hang-up a call and for 3-5 seconds i get NO SERVICE.

While phone is on idle, it continously jumping from 3G to 4G draining battery very fast.

The only way to solve this issue is to turn off 4G in Settings>Cellular. Phone on 3G only work OK.

iPhone6, ios 8.0.2 (also tried with 8.0 same problem), DFU Restored, setup as new iphone, no restore from icloud.

Phone is network free and i use it on Vodafone Romania, also tried with Orange SIM, same problem.

Here is a video i posted on youtube to better explain the problem.

Hello,

I have had my Iphone 5s since May 2014. Last week, I updated to 8.0.2 and got the "NO SIM CARD INSTALLED" error just a couple of days ago. I replaced the SIM card at AT&T, my carrier, and they told me it was an Apple problem and there was nothing more they could do. Right now my network is "SEARCHING" when it should be running 4g LTE. I've tried each of the fixes suggested, and also looked around on the internet and haven't found a good fix. Any other suggestions??

I had same problem with my 5 after updating to iOS 8.0.2. Took it to a sprint store and they said it was the ios8 update. They wiped my phone and reinstalled ios7 which got me connected to my network again. Sprint told me to hold off on updating but unfortunately my last backup was with iOS 8. So right now I'm running iOS 8 and no problems yet. hopefully it was just the 8.0.2 update which I will not be downloading again!!

I upgraded ipad mini 2 with LTE from 7.1.2 straight to 8.1.2 hoping all the bugs are ironed out by now.... nope!

Got the free 200MB/mo Tmobile sim and 4G works. LTE network connection seems fine. I get an LTE next to Tmobile on the status bar. But I get a message saying "Could not activate cellular data network. You are not subscribed to a cellular data service." as soon as I try to use a browser.

With AT&T sim, 4G works just like Tmobile, but as soon as I switch on LTE, there is no network connection at all with "No Service" on the status bar and falls back to 4G after a while. So seems like something broke LTE and still not fixed in 8.1.2.

Anyone having LTE connection issue after updating to 8.0.2.?
