iOS 8.0.2 Settings App Notification badge won't go away!

I Just restore from a backup with itunes and the notification badge is gone , hope guys you have baked up your phone

How do you submit the Apple Bug Report?

Like balamiere said, submit a trouble report at http://www.apple.com/feedback. Apple doesn't pay that much attention to these forums. Unless something really blows up like it did with the Wifi issue in iOS 7 they don't do much. But they do pay attention to feedback they receive at their feedback page.

Use their feedback page and submit this issue, just like what I did.

the more of us use that feedback page, the faster they will act.

Same problem with iPhone 6. Just submitted a bug report.

SSame issue here. Those badges drive me insane

the only solution i have discovered is go into Settings, then Notifications, then hit App Store and switch off Allow Notifications. the little annoying Red Alert is still there when you open the app store, but not on your iPhone 'desktop'

Better still, submit a trouble report suggesting that Apple start taking a look at these forums to see where they've screwed up and save us customers the bother of submitting the same observations twice.

Had the same problem on a 5s that was running 8.0.2. I re-downloaded 8.0 on my computer, option(alt) - clicked on the check for updates button in iTunes with the iphone connected, selected and installed the downloaded firmware. When it first booted it just asked me to slide to upgrade. Then from the settings app it updated to 8.0.2 OTA. Badge gone.

I have all my Apps updated but the red "1" on the App store icon won't disappear. When I open the App Store application, and go to "updates", it shows as if one application is still not updated whereas it is. If I keep it open, after a while the "update" butom turns to "open", and even if i open the mentioned app, the "open" butom won't disappear.

Same thing on my two iphone 5 running ios 8.

I have auto updates off and sync only apps via itunes.

It's obviously an apple problem.

SSame here Apple is lazy to fix it.
