iOS 8.0.2 wifi issue

After updating with 8.0.2 last night, everything is fine with my iPhone 6 plus. Woke up this morning and I noticed that wifi is very slow. My other idevices are working fine. I reset my router and still the same... reset network connection and still the same... after booting up, it won't even recognize any wifi. Finally, I did a hard reset and it fixed my issue. I hope I don't have to do this every morning. Apple, please fix this darn wifi issue!!! You messed up several times already in a week! If you want to keep your customer happy, please make this right! I am losing my trust in you Apple!!!

I have two new iPhone 6's. My wife jumped the gun and downloaded iOS 8.0.2--I have a no download rule for three days. Now her wifi barely connects to our home system, showing simply the dot for connectivity whereas my iPhone--not updated--connects with all bars and is having no problems. Not sure what to do about it? Is the solution simply erasing, resetting and then re set by connecting through iTunes and downloading?

My iPhone 5S, with iOS 8.0.2 OS, is also having WIFI issues wherein it drops connectivity ever since the iOS 8 update. My MACBOOK PRO is connected to the same network and it doesn't drop the wifi connection.

I am seriously thinking going back to iOS 7. Any one of you guys can point me to the iOS 7 download file? From now on I won't be updating my OS until the issue is fixed by Apple.

There are awful problems with the wifi. Some are lucky but there are alot of people struggling. This is a growing thread although it's over on the iPad section. Seems all sorts of devices are having issues. I say stupid Apple for messing about with the wifi driver/code. Why mess with something that worked extremely well on iOS7. They seem to love making changes and breaking functionality. Anyway add your grievances and be sure to hit them very, very hard on the feedback also linked here. They are quite aloof and unlikely to acknowledge they have an issue so they need to be hit pretty hard. I think certain wifi chipsets are not all one and the same across their device range (even on same makes of phones) and the wifi driver is not playing nice with all of them. Clearly very poor QA testing by Apple.

I would like to register here that on my iDevices (iPhone 4s and iPad 4 WiFi only) network connectivity is not working properly.

On iPhone, both 3G and WiFi takes forever to load images, specially under Mail app (Images embedded in a mail are not loaded). I know that it is not an internet connection issue, because using Ookla Speedtest app, it shows normal latency and bandwidth. WiFi signal is also much more weak. Now, being in places where I had full signal using iOS 7, now on 8.0.2 I have only 2-3 bars.

On iPad, the WiFi signal is the main problem and I see clearly that I have a lot of timeout problems when using Safari or Chrome.

This is starting to look like the same issue is springing up all over. I see a common theme in posts reporting these symptoms with 8.0.2:

These issues are being reported with iPhones and iPads

There is a serious problem with 8.0.2.

If they've just seeded the iOS 8.1 beta to developers, 8.0.3 seems unlikely. I can hardly wait. WiFi has become completely unusable on my 4s, dropping connections as fast as it can get them, but only when it can get a connection. I've reset everything on the network that can be reset, to no avail. Even if the SSID is listed, it will not connect with a KNOWN GOOD password. Very disappointing.
