... no replies on this very valid question, even after three days. This isn't a good sign 😟

This "fix" doesn't work for me at all. I'm trying to get rid of a ByWord folder and I've re-installed the app and turned on and off cloud support several times but nothing happens. It's an empty folder as well. Soooooo.... irritating!

I'm not sure it's worth bothering with anyway as the Apple app folder are 100% NON-removable in any case and those bother me even more.

There are no less than FIVE folders, with nothing in them, by apps that I have never used and never want to use (from Apple) that cannot be removed. I understand the logic of them being unremovable, but most people, me included, would be happy if they were just "pretend removed" (hidden). Apple not allowing this is just another example of how out of touch they are with actual users and how little they care IMO.

The most annoying of all, is that apple gives us controls and toggles for all these things, but the toggles don't actually work. For instance, I have only one Mac right now, under iCloud drive options, it has the folder for "Automator" (a very rarely used app by anyone and something I have literally never used on ANY Mac), with a toggle for on/off. You can turn that toggle any way you like and iCloud drive will completely ignore it. Same for pretty much all of Apple's built-in Apps.

WHY INCLUDE THE TOGGLE IF IT DOESN'T WORK? It's just insulting and wrong.
