Here is a picture of my son's phone that has been in a case, since we unpacked the phone from it's protective box shell. He's had it for now 10 days, It was noticed as bent, two days ago. Apple Folks don't care, they claim that it is Property Destruction, even though it's just in the front pants pocket. Apple says that Apple Care + should cover it. However we've never purchased the Apple care, since buying the 4 or the 5 series phones, why should we now? Ok, well now we're forced to for the other iPhone 6's we have. If you have a bent iPhone, try & get Apple Care + before you take it in for replacement. However they may need to visually check the phone first. Anyway the iPhone 6's do bend, less than a week old & one was bent. The other 3 not bent, but one was still in box waiting to be delivered. You can see the case on the table to the right in the background. This site also rotates the picture.

YES, I have a space grey iPhone 6, bought on launch date, replaced once due to volume keys not responding, and then again today because my iPhone was BENT. I work in telecommunications, I am not an idiot, and do not treat my phone like crap, and I do not put it in my pocket - it doesn't fit comfortably in any of my pockets but my jacket pocket, which as many of you can assume is not tight. I am small, 110 pound 5'2 in height, theres no way I sat on my phone and bent it. Took it to  today right after I noticed it, and without question they got me an appointment within the hour, and swapped my phone without question. Which is great, but how many times will I have to do this? In addition to this I have always had an  leather case on it. The bend happened at the volume keys and it looks like it bent in two different spots in that area. the bend was about 3-5 degrees inwards. and you could clearly see it from the back casing, and the lift in the screen.

Not calling you out or anything, but how in the holy **** did it bend in your jacket pocket? That just seems outlandish, I'd be very curious to learn how it actually bent literally just sitting it essentially a loose bag, or on a desk (I'd assume that's where it was when not in the jacket pocket?). It's just incredible to imagine it could bend with no force or stress ever applied to it, at all.

My 6 Plus is a few weeks old now. It's in my pants pocket for everything from work/transit, at home, or playing with the kids/working in the yard. It doesn't have the slightest hint of a bend. As I posted elsewhere though, a friend at work does have a bend to his iPhone 6, but he is pretty sure it's because he pressed it against the hard console in his car while in his pants pocket.

But wow, bent in a jacket pocket? Honestly curious how you imagine it happened with absolutely no stress at all, did they have any ideas?

Right. It's less than believable to think it bent in the front pocket of someone's pants anyway in normal day to day use. But to swallow that it was bent in a jacket pocket, never put under stress? I can't imagine how it could happen. Obviously they replaced the phone, but that seems far less than believable. That literally implies that an exceedingly light phone bent under it's own weight just sitting there. Sorry, but nah. There's more there than that. Like I said, not calling him on the bend, it obviously bent, but that's not the circumstance under which it happened. It's just not, period.

These phones may be more fragile than iPhones past, or not. I don't know, as I said, my plus goes through the same daily paces as my previous iPhones and it doesn't even have a hint of a bend. But I do know, that when people make ridiculous claims about how their phones bent, takes away any credibility from the claim that these phones have a problem. Saying "It was just in my pocket and never had any weight or force against it" can literally be translated to "I ****** up, I don't want to admit it, but I want a new phone". Not - "These phones are weak and Apple needs to address this". If you have to manipulate the facts about the circumstance, then the problem wasn't the phone itself. It's whatever you're leaving out of your story.

This made me laugh out loud. Seriously? If you think a phone is going to bend you're not that intelligent. First of all, why are you trying to bend your electronics in the first place? Keyword: trying. Second, you know this got all the hyper because of the apple haters because of andriods blah blah blah. Well here's the truth. You're missing out on a spectacular device that apple has created. If you can't properly take care of your phone then maybe you shouldn't have one at all. And LASTLY, you'd have to bend this thing pretty **** hard for it to bend.

It's funny, people just have to whine about every little nice thing!

Do not buy, can not say this enough. Apple will not help.

Yes, they can, but on a case by case basis. Look at this thread [ iPhone 6 4.7" bent after one week ] where cap2 reports that Apple did take care of the issue for them.

Your experience may vary, based on a lot of things, including your personal attitude when contacting Apple. Apple might do something for you, but a major factor is how you present your case to them.
