Can't install software on my Mac OS X 10.9.4

Hello everyone,

I seem to have a problem installing new software... For some reason I can't install anything, the installer opens and I follow every step, but in the installation step, the bar just keeps moving but never actually moves as in completing the bar... I tried update from the app store and I can't, I press on update and it stays selected but nothing happens... I tried manually install 10.9.5, no luck, I tried with other softwares like, Teamviewer (which i really need to install), and Java.. but all is the same in all of them.

Can someone please help me? I need my computer for school and work and this can't happen ... :s

I'll be happy to send anyone images of the problem if I wasn't as clear as I wanted to be lol

English is not my main language

Thanks in advance,

Ricardo Santos

The installer daemon is failing to launch. I don’t know why.

Go into /System/Library/LaunchDaemons and Get Info on com.apple.installd.plist.

See what the modification date is.

Not that it will help, but you have an old DotMac launch Agent trying to run.

Go to your user/Library/LaunchAgents and delete com.apple.CSConfigDotMacCert-[...]@me.com-SharedServices.Agent.plist

I don’t see any evidence of any adware, though.

I would erase and install, then migrate only your user data during the Startup when it asks.

After that, I'd install all of your software from the original sources.

I'm not sure if you can fix it besides reinstalling, but take a look in /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/ and get info on the com.apple.install.plist. See when the last modified date.

I'm not sure what date it gets when originally installed, but mine is late Oct, 2013. I'm wondering if something modified it.
