Anyones health kit app stop working?

I went to bed last night and everything was tracking fine between my Healthkit app and myfitnesspal app. I had 5 or 6 things pinned to my dashboard. I woke up and it is all gone.. Nothing is pinned to my dashboard and when I swipe to put it on my dashboard and press back it still isn't there and I go back in and it is switched off. I click on the Show all data and it does the spiny thinking icon forever and won't populate. But my steps I think are still being calculated in myfitnesspal. I have killed all open apps, soft restart, hard restart and nothing has fixed it. I have the iPhone 6 64gb ATT with the os and all apps updated.

I Had to Restart serveral times the all the sudden it data came back in Healthkit. When in Healthkit and then Health Data then Futness Data then steps if you click on the detail in the upper right to show all recorded data. If the wheel is spinning trying to refresh and you get no data then the Health kit app is hung up and will require a hard restart to fIx. Maybe several times like I did. Then it will come back. It is apparently an Apple issue and not Fitness Pal since it cant read the data from the M7 chip. I had to hold the home button and power button to restart but as soon as the Apple came up I released the buttons and then held the again quickly abut 3 times before it reset. Good luck.

I have the same issue with the health app. It needs to be fixed by Apple. I am sure they are aware of the issue.

Some times the dashboard is empty and all of a sudden the data is displayed.. Some time restarting the phone helps sometimes even that does not help. Well its not worth wasting time on this, we can as well take few more steps and climb few more stairs and get healthier as Apple takes some more time to fix it.

And I have noticed that the data is stored somewhere but its not consistently displayed on the dashboard. Its playing peek-a-boo with us...😁

It seems that Health Kit has so many problems that it is barely useful.

While My Fitness Pal is working on a fix, I use Lose It which barely communicates with Health Kit. (Maybe a good thing?)

I expect over time that a program like Lose It (which has a lot of my health data) may eventually fully communicate with Health Kit.

But that may be a year + away.

In the mean time, I'm not going to enter my health data twice.

These health programs need to work better together.

Apple knows about this and is woprking on a fix. In the mean time you can quit the health app (double click the home button and then swipe health app upward) and wait a few seconds to make sure it fully quits. Then do a hard restart (Hold down home button and power switch at the same time until the apple appears).

This will fix your problems but they will re-occur, we will all just have to wait for the update for a fix.
