Anyones health kit app stop working?

I went to bed last night and everything was tracking fine between my Healthkit app and myfitnesspal app. I had 5 or 6 things pinned to my dashboard. I woke up and it is all gone.. Nothing is pinned to my dashboard and when I swipe to put it on my dashboard and press back it still isn't there and I go back in and it is switched off. I click on the Show all data and it does the spiny thinking icon forever and won't populate. But my steps I think are still being calculated in myfitnesspal. I have killed all open apps, soft restart, hard restart and nothing has fixed it. I have the iPhone 6 64gb ATT with the os and all apps updated.

I'm having the same problem with MyFitnessPal for today only. I just notified them. My other apps are working with health kit albeit healthkit still has many problems. I wish apple would have made the health program an app instead of incorporating it in the operating system. Now we have to wait for major updates for corrections.

I worked with support on this issue yesterday - I've had the same problem as everyone else except the problem seems to escalate after fixing. What I mean by this is that the first time the health data disappeared, I shut the app down and restarted - the data came back fine. The next time, shutting the app down did nothing to resolve, but restarting the phone worked ... next time, it took a hard reset. Finally nothing seemed to work which is why I contacted support.

The tech had me to a factory reset, then re-load MFP before restoring from backup. Again after doing that sequence - the data was back ... later in the day it is once again gone.

The good thing is that MFP still seems to be working and recording the data - so hopefully when this is eventually addressed by Apple, all of the data should still be there to report on. (fingers crossed)

Having the same problem here. Data is there one day, gone the next. I've reset the phone and set it up as a new iPhone and after one day with data in Apple Health, the next morning, nothing is there.

The saga of the Apple Health app continues ... maybe, just maybe, a quality control team at Apple will actually fix this app in the next update. The idea of the Health App is excellent, bringing together all of the collected data into one easy to follow app. But after now two misfires by the team that put it together, maybe a new group of engineers is needed to write and correct this app?

So, I found this interesting. I am using an iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.0.2, MyFitnessPal, and Withing Health-mate. This issue has happened twice, and if I uninstall MyFitnessPal, the data becomes visible immediately and I notice the two apps are actually synchronizing the same data point multiple times a day. If I then clear out the data points for the My Fitness Pal app, and reinstall I can successfully continue to use the Health app for a few days before the app will stop working again. It seems the issue is that the app is being overloaded with data, and with any DB type app if it does not have great indexing, it will kind of hang up and eventually the query will time out, hence not showing any data. I think this issue needs to be resolved within the health app and the mechanism used by the applications for synchronizing data as it could also be that the My Fitness Pal App locks the DB that stores the data while trying to add so many data points every time and the slower the data retrieval gets. For now I have reduced the MFP data points to write dietary calories and read the weight input by my Withings Health-mate app. let's see if now the Withings app will crash or if it will remain stable by using fewer data points to collect.
