Ipad Air random reboot on ios 8.0.2

I purchased a brand new Ipad Air, and upgraded it to ios 8.0.2. Since then, I am facing random reboots, after seeing a blue screen for a split second. I took it to the service centre, where they clearly said that it is an OS issue. When is the patch for this coming up. Is it really an OS issue?

I have had ongoing problems with iPadAir since 8.02. Lost count of how many re-sets, restores and setting up with PC/iTunes or as standalone. I have set up as new iPad and restored from earlier backup..........Nothing works!!! It still shows the blue screen and random reboots frequently. All apps are up to date, and most of my problems are using Safari!!!! Go figure

No problems with our iPhone 4S on 8.02 - all working well.

Problems with iPad2 and iOS8.02 - keeps losing network/cellular settings and needs to have network settings re-set.

Tis a pity there is no response from Apple - no local Apple store here!!!!

Time to change to Android!

My iPad Air has presently stabilised by downloading the 8.0.2. IPSW file then doing a restore, selecting the IPSW file I downloaded earlier (not downloaded by iTunes but sourced by googling 'ipad air ipsw files') then setting it up as a new iPad. It's a real pain, because you then have to install the apps and customise the whole thing from scratch. It has taken me over a week to get my iPad back to how it was with all the apps I use installed, accounts logged in, settings tweaked etc. But since then, no reboots. My worry is what happens when the next firmware updates comes... maybe I wont upgrade. Or will it eventually start rebooting again as I use the iPad over a period of time? I dont want to go through the nightmare of reinstalling everything as a new iPad each time there is a firmware upgrade. I'd rather sell the iPad Air and buy something else & then tell everyone I know Apple software is rubbish.

SINCE DOWNLOADING iOS 8 ON MY iPAD, I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING RANDOM REBOOTING PROBLEM THAT HAVE CREATED SOME EXTREME CHALLENGES FOR ME AS MY IPAD IS FOR PROFESSIONAL USE. CONSTANT REBOOTING DURING A PRESENTATION IS MORE THAN I CAN BEAR. THIS HAS CAUSED EXTREME EMBARRASSMENT, I AM ABOUT FEED UP WITH APPLE NOT RESPECTING CONSUMERS. I HAVE BEEN AN AVID SUPPORTER SINCE 1986, AGAINST ALL ODDS. I HAVE TURNED MANY OF MY FAMILY, FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES ON TO APPLE PRODUCTS, HOWEVER THIS WILL STOP AS OF NOW. AS A COLLEGE ADMINISTRATOR I HAVE MOVED MANY OF MY CAMPUSES TO MACS, THIS TOO WILL STOP.

iPad Air iOs 8.1 - Same Problem.

I found on another site that this problem is caused by iCloud. The iPad usually crashed while using Safari. I switched off the Safai for iCloud and it never came back - while using Safari! The problem still exists while using other apps with iCloud synchronization. Well, switching off iCloud is not the best solution for an idevice...hope it'll be fixed soon!

I have an iPad Air currently running IOS 8.1.1. Had the blue screen since 8.0.2 and now it will not startup at all. Tried to restore to factory but the device would not stay on long enough to restore. Placed in recovery mode and I get error codes 4005, 4013, and 4014. Apple says they are working the issue, I have my doubts they care that much. I have had this iPad for 12 months and 4 days before I had the first blue screen issue. In case there is an apple rep that reads this and wants to view additional information regarding my case, the case # is: 708580602. I, like others, rely on my iPad for work. Now all I have is a $700.00 paperweight. Apple, Please help me by repairing or replace my device and all other who are having this problem as a sign that Apple still stands behind it's products like when Mr. Jobs was still alive.
