Battery Drains in iOS 8.0.2 iPhone 5s

Yesterday i updated my iPhone 5s to iOS 8.0.2, since then my battery has drained really fast its gone from 100% to 80% in 10 minutes. I called Apple support and they ran a diagnostic test on the phone but nothing showed up.Does anyone have any solutions to why this is happening?, i always force close the apps after i finish using them so i honestly don't know why this is happening.Is it just iOS 8? if so can it be resolved in the next Apple software update?

Same here with 5S. 8.1.1, battery drains al lot in stand-by, 1% per minute using it. Sometimes the iPhone heats. And percents jumps, for example 58% to 56%...

Actually deleting my Exchange account was the very first thing I tried. But my battery still drained like crazy.

I'm pretty sure mine has something to do with my iCloud account.

I don't have an exchange account, I don't have mail set up, and I don't use icloud....so in my experience, this problem is nothing unique to these apps.

Exactly the same problem, actually the phone is close to unusable as the battery drains before I can reach a charger. Gets very hot. How to revert back to iOS 7?

Perhaps a class action would be the way to go

What would cost them less, a multi class action or just fixing the problem???????????????

Not in the least fixed. Phone has been given to Apple. Battery they claim my be faulty and looks like they may replace the entire unit. Will keep you iformed

Or just go back to the beta 8.3 and do an OTA Update- iOS 8.3 Beta 3 was released today which includes Apple Watch support now.
