IOS 8.0.2 wifi issues

Hi, I have issues with my new iPhone 6 on IOS 8.0.2

Sometimes I lose wifi connectivity and disable / enable the wifi on Settings is not enough... only chance is to reboot the phone.

Same story over here... I even thought it was my 3 year old router because surely it could not be my new shiny iphone that was the problem...unfortunately it is.

I lose Wifi al the time, at least 5 times on a normal evening, it even forgets it knows the home network and starts asking for the network key again on some occasions. Really really really annoying... Greetings from my blackberry z10

Same problem. I updated my 4S to 8.0.2 because of all the hype. I messed up. Now i have NO wifi capability. I can't even toggle Wi-fi on, and bluetooth doesn't work either. These problems started the moment I updated. Apple Fix this as basically my phone is useless for what I use it for. Android is calling my name since even the new 6 is having the same problems. FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You killed my phone Apple, and you will not admit any fault. Thanks alot. My ipad update forced me to erase and restore too and lost all my documents in the process. What is up with wrecking your own products with crappy updates.

I have iPhone 6 with 8.1.1. This nonsense of not being able to log onto the wireless has really gotten to me. When I go from one wireless connection to another one, I lose the wireless capability. I have all the wireless 'bars' and no internet. Turning the wireless on/off does nothing. If I shut down the phone and turn it back on, "presto" I get the wireless back. This is not acceptable!

We have the same issues with our iPhone 6. We've updated to 8.1.2 and still our Wi-Fi does not work properly. I have reset network settings, turned off Wi-Fi Network Settings, tried rebooting phone, modem, and everything short of tossing this phone out the window. Tired of using cellular data to check email, browse, etc. Apple EMPHATICALLY needs to address this significant Wi-Fi problem.

Success! I was having a nightmare of a time with the wireless connections. I lost track of how many times I rebooted my router. I found a simple solution:

Go to settings/general

Look for 'reset' at bottom of screen and tap it

tap 'Reset Network Settings'

This will take out all the settings even hidden that hold on to your WIFI connections and then reboots the phone/iPad.

You will need to go in and put back all your WiFi passwords for home, work, public, etc., but I found that my phone/iPad connects faster and fully now.

A strange quirk was that when I reset with network connections on my phone, it took out my network passwords in the iCloud and so I had to reconnect on my iPad and computer, also. Small price to pay!

Once the iPhone/iPad and iMac were online, I had no more issues with the WiFi.

What modem are people using on here? My iphone 6 was working perfectly- UNTIL I bought my own modem to save $7 a month from Time Warner modem rental fees. I bought a Motorola Surfboard SB6121 modem, installed it, and suddenly my iphone cannot keep a connection. Every other internet connected device works fine. Two laptops with windows 8 and 7- no problem. Xbox 360 and Xbox One-both work like a charm. The only device having a problem with the new modem are our new iphones. My wife's iphone is having the same problem. It got so bad, she turned off her wifi altogether, resulting in us going WAY over our monthly cellular data.

This is incredibly frustrating. In the middle of a clash of clans battle- connection dropped. Try to load a website- connection dropped. Intermittently it will work, but it's just laggy. I'll run test my speed, and it will either not connect at all, or have a normal connection.

I'm not sure if there's some sort of warranty or whatever, but I'm about to just give up on this and try something else. It's now costing me money.
