Defective Iphone 6 screens?

Can anyone tell me if there is a defect in Iphone 6 screens?

I have had this phone all of 4 days and it is broken! It did not survive a 2 foot impact from a 32g spice bottle. I do not understand how there are videos showing the screen surviving hammers, waist and head high drops! I feel so deceived thinking this product was going to be better than the 4S that I upgraded from. (long story but the 4S survived 2 years without a scratch to the screen.. dropped numerous times) I checked the apple services and they want me to charge me 297 euros (we are in France) to mail-in a repair.

iPhone 6, iOS 8

I know it's been a year since your post, but I can't believe there isn't an uproar about the screens. I had my 4s for over 2 ½ years, dropped it countless times with and without a case and it never broke. I had the 6 for 48 hours. My nephew had just told me to "be careful because they break really easily." I hadn't even had time to order a good case online. I sat in a very low chair, it fell out of my pocket and cracked from 2 corners. It's ridiculous. I was not offered Applecare at the AT&T store, I was offered insurance for an additional $10/month. I thought about how long my last phone had lasted and didn't see paying all of that. It is BS and the most angry I have been with Apple since I bought my first Mac in early 1985. First time I've considered leaving.

I also assumed like every other apple product that it has a one year warranty - this is not included and they want $129. to replace it. Looking for someone else to fix it. Then I'll probably sell it and get something more durable.

Like what? I've seen more broken screens on Samsungs and HTCs lately than iPhone6s. In fact, I saw many many more broken screens on iPhone4s and 5s. User damage is rarely included in warranties on and electrical device I have ever seen. But you can take it in to your local Apple Store and plead your case.

Cheers

Although not more durable, Motorola's Turbo comes (or used to) with a one time free screen replacement (within the first year). I've always had the feeling it means they think the screen is more likely to break. I didn't break mine but then, I've never broken an iPhone screen, either.

MY screen just shattered from a 1 foot drop. I was crouched looking under my car and it slips out. KO. It is clear Apple doesn't have ghosts, just like it is clear Apple doesn't want to protect my money or business. The phone physically breaks with ease. The phone's iOS is riddled with bugs. The cost is through the roof. I'm done with Apple.

I have had this phone less than a year and it has cracked three times already. I HAVE NEVER CRACKED ANY SCREEN ON ANY PHONE THAT I'VE EVER HAD!!! The darn thing cracked when I dropped it on the carpet today. CARPET (really) CARPET...WHILE IN A PROTECTIVE CASE!!! Everyone I know who has this phone has had a problem with the screen on their iPhone 6s.
