iPhone restore error 53 - not listed anywhere, what is the problem? has anyone seen it before???

my iPhone 6+ still stuck with error 53 itunes while trying to restore. i did all 1-6 steps from the link you gave. is it hardware problem or software problem?

Same here. Tried in 4 macs and a Windows.

Same here.. Tried 4 laptops and an iMac. All iTunes 12, one winderz even.... No go. Very bad experience apple.

I had to get a whole new phone it was a horrible experience with apple. Not happy at all. Don't waste your time troubleshooting it's a hardware issue

After an hour and 15 minute phone call, the "senior" technician told me to take it back to the store and get another one. I guess 53 = DEAD

Guys issue is in provider. Try another network!!!

i have the same problem for my iphone 6 error 53

Has someone found a solution for this? Have tried everyrhing without success. IPhone 6 stuck on recovery mode.

had the same problem called apple support here is what helped

try with different cable and diffrent usb port

Solution The fingerprint bottom was replace need to restore it with the original one!
