If it has been less than 90 days after your service with Apple, the repair should still be covered. Contact Apple or go to the Apple Store and have them inspect it again.

My iPad Air (1st gen) speaker would make the weirdest noises (loud beeps, wouldnt work at all sometimes, and wouldn't work with headphones either), so I did a restore and it fixed the problem.

That's interesting. Now, how exactly does this relate in any way to the issue being discussed in this thread? How would a software restore realign the physical hardware of the camera lens and the overlaying protective cover?

Perhaps you meant for this reply to be in a different thread?

I've had exactly this problem. Never dropped the phone or subjected it to harsh force. I do use it as a Sat Nav so maybe the vibrations from being in a holder stuck to the car windscreen have caused it. Took it to Apple shop and they put a new display assembly on it under warranty. Will see if it happens again.

After 3 months, my perfect camera had once again had about 30% coverage. I brought it back to Apple, and this time they swapped it out for a new one (still black). Last time, they replaced the front glass. if the problem reappears, I'll post again.

Going for my fourth one now, will see how long this one last. What a POS........

Yup...I tried to push them to give me a different color but no luck. All with in two months apart...First one brand new with in one month, second replacement two months, 3rd replaced glass and fourth replacement in the mail.

Hi, I have this problem too, I'm going to be passing by an Apple Store tomorrow is it worth me asking for a replacement? To be honest if I'm paying £699 for a phone it needs to be flawless, also do you think they would replace with a silver or gold iphone as this seems to be a common problem with the space gray iPhone 6's. Mine is in the attached picture:

Make an appointment at the Apple Store Genius Bar. If you just walk-in, you could wait hours to be seen. And it's highly unlikely they'll change out the color of your phone. IF they replace your phone, it will be with the same color and model you currently have. Plus I know lot's of people, myself included who own iPhone 6 in Space Grey with no shifting of the front facing camera. None whatsoever.

If I were you I'd call in to the store and ask them to sort it. I don't think they'll swap it for another colour, but you can ask. I don't understand why the other colours aren't seeing the issue. That implies that they are of a different physical design.

there's no guarantee they will give you a replacement, they might replace glass only. I asked for a replacement on my 3rd attempt and they won't do it. Make an appointment online other wise they might or might not help you. I did asked for a different color on the fourth round but got turn down. Probably better off just have the glass replace that way everthing match the original box if you ever plan to sale it.

more than clear. It's my 3rd replaced phone with the same problem. I'm going insane. I have to replace it again. @apple, what how do you fix this? It's very annoing to pay a lot a money for a phone whose hardware is movin inside!

there's no fix they said, all they can do is keep replacing it if happens again, one of their sr rep told me. I agree with you 110%, this is completely BS.........
