FaceTime camera appears off-center

I noticed today that on my iPhone 6 the FaceTime camera on the front appears way off-center. I've attached a photo, but it's a little hard to see. It doesn't seem to interfere with the camera, but I don't really know that without a comparison and I haven't seen any other iPhone 6 in person to compare how it looks. Should I

take this in to have looked at?

Took my iPhone yesterday and they didn't hesitate to replace it. However, I have Sprint and they swapped the SIM card from my old phone into the new one, but Sprint is CDMA not GSM so you can't swap the SIM and expect it to work. They then told me there was nothing they could do and I would have to go to Sprint for a new SIM. The people at Sprint were mad at Apple for doing that so they called and complained while getting me a new SIM. Overall, something that should have taken 15 minutes took 2 hours. The Apple store I went to is in Houston, TX and they said they had never seen this before.

I have had this problem twice already and when I went to the Apple Store for the second time, I became extremely angry. To start- I DO NOT carry my phone around like it is a toy; it stays in my pocket and has never been dropped. I paid a lot of money for this phone and I don't have any plans to spend any more on a replacement, so I am crazy about how I treat it.

So when I took my phone to the Apple Store for the second time, the "genius" told me that I can't constantly come in for new phones just because the camera is broken. So I politely told her "Yes, I absolutely can, because I'm not the one who is breaking my device, its a manufacturing defect." So she replies with "I understand its a manufacturing defect, but we don't have that many displays to go around, and we can't constantly be replacing your phone's display." Long story short, I asked for the manager and told her that what the genius was completely unacceptable and asked for a replacement. I got what I wanted, but next time this happens, (which I'm assuming it will because of how prevalent this issue is) I'm going right back to the store and will go through this whole process again and again and again until my warranty is over.

Actually, "trolling" does not mean you're rude but looking to argue or start an argument (laying out bait like on a trolling line when fishing). As far as the camera defect, it appears Apple is on the side of deeming it a replaceable issue since everyone here who has taken their phone in got it replaced with little to no problem.

So, intentionally tying to start an argument isn't considered rude behavior?

Just noticed my black iPhone 6 was off center....jumped on to see if anyone else was having this issue or it was an intended process to compensate for something. My wife's white iPhone 6 does not have this is at all which was the other reason why I thought this was a defect. Guess I will be calling Apple tonight or making a trip to the closest Apple store. Had the battery issue with the iPhone 5 now this.....

Honestly you're annoying. wether the front camera works or doesn't with the crescent moon new iPhones cost as much as laptops. If there is anything slightly off with a 900 dollar piece of technology it should be replaced automatically. Apple arguably makes the highest quality phones that correlate in price, if any hardware is slightly moving inside, apple should be appalled and start recalling.

Im new to posting on here and not familiar with quoting posts. i take back what i said. it is just upsetting that it seems to me you are downplaying the problem of hardware in an expensive phone being defective and moving inside the phone. you argue that you don't see the real issue if the phone still has all its functionality and I'm arguing and upset that one of the most expensive smartphones on the market made by a prestigious technology company has fricken loose parts inside! if anything I'm annoyed apple dotes on itself to consumers about quality when their products clearly have issues.

I didn't downplay anything. I asked if the movement of the camera made a difference and even asked if anyone would post a picture they took with the front facing camera, but no one did. Instead people complained, but never showed whether other than it moving, if it effected anything. If my camera wasn't centered however, I would most definitely return it to Apple and fully expect them to either fix it or replace it. The other comment I made that someone "could" take offense with is whether Apple will replace a phone with a new or refurbished device. The reality is Apple can by the guarantee we agreed to when we bought an iPhone replace a defective phone with a refurbished device. It's been that way since the dawn of iPhone. On a final note, if you visit any phone forum, ANY, you'll see issues with every phone out there. And it's no limited to just phones. My $1300 Nikon DSLR had to replaced by Nikon when it developed an issue caused by a manufacturing defect.

Now, since this is technical support forum, not a complaint line, do you have an issue you need help with or did you just feel you needed to tell me you think I'm annoying (however, thank you for taking that back)?

I had this issue with my first iPhone 6(Black, 16gb) and it was fine when I got it. A week or two later, I noticed the issue with the camera. I then took it to apple, they tried a screen replacement that didn't help. They then replaced the phone, and that one was fine. A week and a half later (never dropped the phone or anything) I noticed the same issue. My mom has the iPhone 6 in white and I haven't noticed the problem on hers. I may ask if I can get a replacement unit and change the color. I think it is weird to have two defective units in a row, or maybe this is an issue with all, but only a few are noticing it.
