Mighty Mouse Right Click

I am having the same problem with the Bluetooth Mighty Mouse. The right click works occasionally, and i have to practically lift my hand off of the mouse to make it work. Is causing my hand to cramp, and even spasm.

I would encourage anyone with a problem like this to take it back and get it exchanged. It's not working properly, but once it does it is very good. But, as I said before, you have to lift the finger you use for left-clicking off the mouse as it has 'preference' over the right finger when the mouse detects what you want to do.

I shouldnt have to lift my left finger. I have used 2 button mouses for years and have never had to lift my left finger to right click. I followed the tip of removing the mouse, and refinding, the right click started working again, but only when i lift my hand off the mouse. It shouldnt be so. Now my finger trembles and spasms after a few hours of use, even when not using the mouse.

I'm left handed and have no issues with my bluetooth mighty mouse.

using it in my left hand, but a right click is a right click

Hey that suggestion worked! Everyone please try this if you are having this problem. Don't go to the apple store, do not talk to any geniuses.

What does the right click actually do? Is it the same as on a PC? Mine does nothing when I right click no matter what I do. It is the standard plug in mighty mouse.

Have you configured the right click in System Preferences>Keyboard & Mouse>Mouse?

Whoops! Yes I just checked that out after I posted the message and it works perfectly!

Gosh the man pays 70 bucks for a mouse that doesn't work and you read him the riot act for feeling put out.
