iPad 2 iOS 8 storage being used when streaming videos (TV Shows) no way to delete or find the videos? Am I missing something?

I am using a 32GB iPad2 with iOS 8.0.2 loaded on it. I stream iTunes purchased TV show videos on the device through the video app which I think is supposed to be streaming the video but it seems to be using up storage space anyway. When I go to manage storage I don't even see the video icon there to see what videos are there. The only way I can clean up space is to reset the iPad. This is too time consuming and I would think there is an easier way to deal with this issue? I do little else than watch video so it is the only app that can be using that much storage. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

iTunes doesn't stream video.

You are downloading it.

UPDATED SOLUTION

1. Settings - Videos - Turn Show All Videos OFF (if you are using iCloud storage)

2. Press Home key and go to Videos

3. Press the Edit button upper right corner

4. Delete videos

5. Go back to Settings - Videos - Turn Show All Videos ON (if you are using iCloud storage)

6. Still not done!!

7. Hold down the top button to turn off the iPad

8. Turn is back and check your available storage by going the Settings - Usage

Apple,

Why do we have to do this?

The easiest solution I have found is:

1) Open the Videos app .

2) Select Edit from the top right corner of the screen. Anything that has been downloaded will show an "x" in the upper right corner.

3) Press the "x" to select and delete the content from your device memory (this does not delete the content from your account).

4) Continue this process until all the "streamed" content is removed (this works for both movies and shows).

5) Open "Usage" in general settings and confirm you have your memory back.

TThis helped me massively thanks for the post.

I have had this issue for 2 years where the videos take up space by streaming but you can't see them to delete.

IT seems if you watch a film all the way through, it is ales up memory and stays there - you haven't downloaded ir, the cloud symbol is there but the entire film is streamed already and you can't get rid.

I Just used I browse as described and it worked a treat.

THanks again
