iPhone 6 Plus Verizon shipping/delivery

Has anybody that ordered their iPhone 6 Plus through Verizon actually gotten their phone yet? or even got a shipping confirmation email and tracking number? i pre ordered my 6 Plus 64gb Space grey on 9/17 and have a ship date of 10/31, my status on verizon still says order is in process.

OK - to recap my experience: On October 15 I order from the Verizon Wireless website under my account, an iPhone 6+, 64 GB, Space Grey. The expected ship by date was (and still is) November 14. I received an email confirmation that had my order details, confirmed ship by date and my order number. The email also had a link to check my status. I checked that status constantly and to this day it say "Your order is processing. Your shipping details will be available soon." It also has my order date, order number and Tracking number which is blank.


I logged into my Verizon Wireless account and it shows that have no orders that have shipped in the past 30/90 days and not orders placed in the past 150 days. At first I was concerned about this but other Verizon customers have said the same thing, so I let it be. I never called Verizon because from everything I've read the support team there has no idea what's going on and honestly they are at the mercy of Apple and when Apple decides to ship retailers/providers inventory. It's no secrete that Apple is shipping to Apple stores first, but rest assured that Apple wants to hit it's 3rd quarter and End of Year numbers and shipping to mobile providers is a huge part of that, especially because, at least Verizon, they don't charge for the order until it's shipped. Also, I've tried but finding a 6+ in an Apple store is almost impossible - some have been able to get one but many people are trying this option and often they don't get the color they want. I'm going to have this phone for 2+ years and payed and arm, leg and a couple fingers to get it so I want the color I want.


So today I received and email from Verizon titled "Things to know about your new Verizon phone." In this email it has direction on how to check my order status and sends me to a login type page that I insert the order number (which is now different than what was in the first email) and my last name. So, 3 weeks later I think they confirmed that they actually did receive my order and apparently it's still scheduled to ship by 11/14 - not really sure because this new page basically says the same as the old one. Having said that - when I click the link on that page that says "Review your order History in My Verizon" it still shows no orders....

Ordered mine off of verizon's site with edge upgrade on 10/13 with ship by date of 11/14. Space gray 64gb 6+. Still have gotten nothing from Verizon regarding my order except the original confirmation email when I placed my order. I check the status everyday and it's always the same being processed with no tracking number. Thought I would for sure get it this week since others with close to the same date have already got thiers. Upgrading from a note 3, been with andriod from the very beginning and just starting to get bored with it, this will be my first iphone. This waiting game has really made me angry though

Ordered mine on Oct 14th at a Verizon store and give an expected ship date of Nov 14. Just the other day got an email from Verizon "what to expect with your new phone" so I'm assuming that it is shipping soon. Guy at the Verizon store told me everyone he's talked to who ordered one through Verizon got it early. I'm sure he is trained to say that. How long after getting the "what to expect with your new phone" email did your phone ship? I ordered the space gray 64Gb.

I've had almost the exact same experience as TheCobraCommander- pretty much no information through the online tracker, no order showing up in my online account, got the email about how to prepare for my new phone with a preorder number that's off by one digit from the one on my receipt from the store. I called Verizon the other day and the CSR assured me that my order was still scheduled for my original deliver date of 11/14... I want to believe her, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

So like I said in a previous post I placed my third order for iPhone 6+ 128gb on October 8th with an expected ship date of Oct. 31st.

I called CSR everyday from the 30th until the 4th and was being told that they have been pushed back to Nov 21st.

I never got an email telling me this like some people have stated.

then I was told it was because I never accepted the T&A for my edge up but I had called them 8 times prior letting them know I had not received them nor had I had got an email confirming my order.

So yesterday I canceled the order and I placed a new one for a 64 gb Plus space grey.

Was told that it also had a Nov 21st ship date but after reading about people getting that model early that's what I went with.


This morning I checked my account and saw a tracking number for my original order and called CSR right away telling them they need to get their **** together this is crazy and to un-cancel the order I canceled and to stop the new order. Was told that isn't possible so I hung up and called back immediately.

The second guy told me that he first order didn't cancel out all the way so that order was still good then he stopped the second order and I actually have an email for that one.

So now my phone will arrive Monday via fed ex, but im fearing that its gonna be returned to Verizon for some reason, and if this happens I will be removing 12 lines and going to ATT.


ALSO if you ordered on EDGE go check your contract Mine says I am paying 47.48 a month but on the website it says I should be paying 39 and some change and they are refusing to change it, but I screen-capped this and will be contacting corporate on Monday after it arrives.

Ordered the iPhone 6 64GB in gold (I have the 5S 32GB in gold) on 10/26 with an expected ship date by 11/21. I have zero patience so I've been reading blogs like this and checking my order status online every day. Tonight the page updated to an order number without a tracking number like some of you have gotten, and the money has been taken from my bank account. Hopefully I'll have tracking information in the next day or so, but either way looks like it's processing 2 weeks earlier than expected. 🙂

Petri916- Not to be a jerk, but if you do the math out you'd have to pay the $47 monthly to pay off the total cost of the phone over a 20-month payment schedule. If it was a 24-month schedule, then it would be the $39 as advertised. Is it possible that maybe they had to adjust the number of payments based on the renewal date of your contract? Paying the $39.58 over 20 months would mean that in the end you'd have paid only $791.60 for a phone that costs $949.99. I can totally understand the frustration of expecting one thing and ending up with something different, but I think there's probably something else going on that they either didn't explain well or even at all.

I found out earlier this evening when I inquired about and have not had chance to update post it but is that since my first order they changed the edge payments from 20 month to 24 months for other customers and they wont change it. doesnt really matter to me just thought it was kind of funny. Im paying off half the device by end of december either way because I like to upgrade at the end of the year.

Here's my 2 day update......Nothing has change - Surprising right, I know you're surprised don't deny it 🙂


Yeah, nothing has changed. No tracking number, no withdraw from my bank account, no new emails - NOTHING!


My expected delivery date is 11/14 - so one week left. For those that have received it 10 days early - lucky you. There seems to be no rhyme or reason why some get it early and some don't (Regarding the 64GB version). I know the silver is less popular but even now people are having a hard time get that one.


@katiemichelle - that's crazy that they have already charged your account, and still no tracking. I ordered mine almost two weeks prior and they still have not hit my account. I did order the Space Grey, which seems to be the most popular but Gold is also very popular.


I'm usually very patient but I'm about over all this BS and waiting. To pay so much and then to have to wait for so long with horrible communication is crap, it really is. I have a 4S and I'm ready to move on - I'm not going to jump through hoops to get a **** phone, they should be jumping through hoops to retain us as customers! For as great as the phone might be - their execution is the worst I've seen.


Please excuse my rant, just starting to get fed up and I know most of you are as well.

My Verizon account looked like your screenshot, but with the the expected ship date of 11/21, until last night. I still don't have a tracking number, but I'm hopeful now that the money has been taken and there's an order number for me to stare at now. I won't get too excited until there's an actual tracking number. Even though I shouldn't be since there seems to be no organized reason for who's getting what on time, I'm still kind of surprised you ordered the grey one a week before me and yours didn't show up yet. I bet it'll update before 11/14, and we'll both be basking in the larger lights of our screens in no time.

Who knows what their system is. I sure hope to see some change soon - anything that confirms that I somehow didn't get lost in the system like some others have. I'm looking forward to burning the retinas of my eye with the large screen! I'm on a 4S so it's going to be a huge jump for me - but I love books and gaming, and I can only envision what Clash of Clans looks like on that magical screen.

Beautiful things are happening. I don't think you got lost in the system, from what I've read some peoples orders suddenly say "cancelled". As long as yours still has that pre-order expected ship by date of 11/14 I wouldn't worry about it. I'd just be frustrated that nothing has changed. I'm sending positive FedEx tracking vibes your way!
