Apps disappeared from "Use Cellular Data For" after iOS 8.0.2

Normally, when you go to Settings->Cellular Data, you can see a list of all apps that use data, and you are able to turn cellular data on or off for each app individually.

I had been using this feature since iOS 7 without problem, until I upgraded to iOS 8.0.2.

Now, only "FaceTime" and "Passbook" appear under this list. All other apps, including Mail, Safari, etc. have disappeared.

What's worse, apps for which I had turned cellular data for---such as YouTube---cannot be turned back on, because they have disappeared from this list. Therefore, I am permanently unable to use YouTube without Wifi because of this bug. The same goes for every app for which I had turned off cellular data.

I tried restoring the iPhone (it's an iPhone 5), to no avail.

Does anyone else have this issue, or is it a weird bug with just my phone?

soulbrother77, this worked perfectly for me. Such a simple solution after I'd tried all the quick fixes I could think of trying. Thanks!

In the new IOS, this option has been moved to the Settings home page. You have to swipe down until you see the app you want > click on it > check or uncheck "Cellular Data".

I've been suffering in this issues for several months since I updated from iOS8 to iOS9.

I thought it was just a bug and will be fixed after a couple of updates, but it has never been fixed.

Now I updated it to iOS 10, and the issue is still there. I bought a new iPhone 7, and restore the backup from my old iPhone 6; and the same issue has just been carried to my new iphone 7. Never got a chance to fix this. UNLESS I restore the phones to default setting.

Is there anyone has any comments or solutions? Thanks!

The same problem here, through a quick research on the. Internet it seems the only way to solve this issue is to downgrade to IIOS 8.1. I think Apple don't care anymore about solving this issue. I just update my phone to IOS 10.1 and the same problem still in!

I Have tried every solution except setting to factory mode: upgrades to iOS 10.2.2 Have still not resol the bug
