Since update IOS 8, phone won't ring, no missed call and then I see voicemail notification

Did you try going into Settings>DO Not Disturb> then where it says Allow Calls From click that and click Everyone! I hope that helps.

I have an iPhone 6 on iOS 8.3. I tried all of the suggestions and nothing worked - I wasn't receiving calls, but then I'd get voicemail messages. Resetting the network settings worked! Thanks!

This just happened to me when I upgraded to IOS 8.4. There is a setting that I think is the problem in the Do Not Disturb area Silence section. It says Always or Only when iPhone is locked. It says that incoming calls will be silenced. There is no way to turn this off... It seems that the 8.4 release may have introduced a bug...

No I don't think the Do Not Disturb setting mentioned is the problem. For me Do Not Disturb is turned off and Silence "Only when iPhone is locked" is also checked but I am no longer having the problem. For me the problem was simply that the mute switch on side of iPhone 5 was switched on.

Settings > General > Accessibility > Scroll to assistive touch and turn it on.

Then you will have a white circle in a black square icon. Tap on the white circle > Tap on device > Tap on mute/unmute.

Make sure you leave it on unmute.

I had the exact same problem but luckily my phone company figured it out. Go into settings, then go into do not disturb then turn manual on and then turn it back off. It should now work
