Hi All...
Which carrier I have: AT&T
What date and time I ordered: Sept 18
Where I ordered from: AT&T
Which iPhone (6 or 6+): 6+
How many GB and what color: 128 GB Space Gray
Estimated "ship" dates: November 12-21
Received order confirmation October 3rd and "Preparing to ship" status change same day. No changes since day 1.
UPDATE: I'd posted of my troubles with this order a few days ago, when an over-zealous (and obviously over-stressed) AT&T employee took it upon herself to unceremoniously CANCEL my order after I chatted online to inquire on my order status. (I expressed dismay at AT&T's lack of customer service due to their inability to keep customers abreast of what was going on with their orders. That "preparing to ship" usually means that the product ordered is actually in hand. Orders like this need to read, "Awaiting product from manufacturer for shipment." Apparently, the young lady took offense to my comments and cancelled my order immediately after I logged off...)
AT&T's "customer service" said they couldn't reinstate the order and to re-order my phone. For troubles, here's a $200. credit to your account. I took the credit, placed an order via Apple's website and the delivery date listed as Nov. 7th (AHEAD of my original AT&T order.)
Using the various web-site notifiers I received an email stating the unit I was looking for was IN STOCK at my local Apple store. I quickly placed a new order and reserved one for pick-up. It's now sitting on my desk syncing with my Mac. Apparently, there was some good karma directed towards me after my bad experience.
Check local inventories everyone - there was mass delivery to several Apple locations today - GOOD LUCK!
