When I access the Calendar app in iCloud, I noticed I have Chinese type symbols showing up adjacent to the year. Why is this happening and how can I remove them? Thanks!
iPhone 5, iOS 8, HP Envy 17-3290nr (3D)-Windows 7/64
iOS 10.3.2 tested...open calendar app. With Chinese character showing click calendars Option on bottom of screen. This will open "Show calendars". Check and uncheck the different calendars until you see Chinese character disappear and reappear. Select the "i" in the circle next to the calendar, this opens "edit calendar". Select delete calendar.

I don't have lunar calendar checked but still have loads of chinese in my calendar!

Most likely spam invites, nothing to do with lunar calendar. Many people have had this...
