Yosemite download error

I'm trying to download Yosemite on my Macbook Air (late 2010, 2 GB Intel, running 10.7.5). The download almost finishes, then I receive the error message, "The application could not be downloaded. The requested URL was not found on this server." Whether clicking "cancel" or "retry", I then am asked to sign in to my Apple account on the App Store (even though I've already signed in). I've tried a few times with the same outcome. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to fix this? Thanks.

I fixed the problem by using Repair Disk Permissions in Disk Utility. Running the repair allowed be to complete my download.

This fixed my issue also, many thanks for posting.

My path (in bold) varied slightly /var/folders/_p/4ywsgzt13js61v1vfk6prq7m0000gn/C/com.apple.appstore/915041082 but the rest remained the same. Once the directory was renamed the update downloaded correctly.
