I have upgraded my new iMac to OS X Yosemite. When asked by the setup whether I wanted to upgrade to iCloud drive, my power went out! When it came back up, the Mac's iCloud setup shows "iCloud Drive Setting up..." perpetually, with the progress wheel spinning. I've tried rebooting and clearing the ubiquitous file and still stuck. Any ideas?
Neither re-signing into iCloud nor relaunching Finder have resolved this problem for me.
Never mind, one of those two things fixed it. It just took forever for it to connect.

Then restart the Mac.
Relaunched. Restart. Still not working. Message "Setting up iCloud Drive..." for 24 hours now.
Restarting worked for me. Although it then took a couple hours for iCloud Drive on computer 1 to sync with what I was seeing on computer 2. And I have very little uploaded to it so far. Under 500mb

I tried pretty much everything on this thread.
I then realized my App Store credit card need a new expiration date. Fixed that and suddenly the spinner ceased. Coincidence?

Initially this did not work for me; however, it did after I started to sign out of iCloud, cancelled and then hit the Option key & relaunched iCloud drive.
