Final Cut Pro X is not working with Yosemite!

They should warn you your going to lose all your things, its disgusting of Apple to do that to you as if I need this now with just about to start Uni..God.

WWhat version of FCP are you using?

YOsemite's pretty well been gone over on the web. It's not like it came out yesterday, and unless you just got a new Mac, you do my have to upgrade to Yosemite.

FCP X works very well in Yosemite. If you have an older version you need to update, but that will not make you lose your older projects.

I am using version10.0.6. When i bought this laptop, it was licensed and pre installed from previous owner.

I recently update it to latest OS. and now i am receiving attached errors. Can you suggest any solution?

I tried to run it from Contents > Mac OS, but getting error again.

YYou'd have to purchase the software. The license is not transferable, and the software should have been removed before the computer was sold.

I'm also having a problem opening FCP after having upgraded to Yosemite. The program was already on the computer when I bought it (ex demo model MacBook Pro) from a re-sale shop in London so I don't have any discs.

There is no upgrade from legacy FCP to FCPX. They are separate applications. There is a trial version available for download, good for 30 days. The application is purchased from the App Store.
