No widgets in Yosemite notification center

Just a note, everyone - I rebooted my MacBook Pro and all of my widgets came back.

I rebooted several times but did not help. Just running disk utility to repair rights.

Same problem - no sharing in Safari, no Widgets in Notification Center. Add another user, no problems in that new account

Was able to get widgets back by manually activating them through simulator, but still no sharing in safari or social widget working, plus I may have noticed that markup is missing from the extensions panel inside system preferences.

I've rebooted multiple times and can confirm it doesn't work, same with fixing disk permissions.

How to get widgets in OS X notification center?

Still need to somehow fix sharing in safari, social widget and the lack of markup in the extensions panel in system preferences. I think all 3 are connected somehow.

Good solution is to send them a complain. I do not have any widgets and also no any messages at all. Not from FB, Tweeter, mail or others. 😟

I send a message to support team. I hope you al wil do the same, so they can solved this problem.

So far we only have a fix for the widgets, I wish we could get the Social widget working along with the Social Sharing in Safari, but either way it all needs fixed ASAP by Apple. I'm starting to think Apple is ignoring the fact that there is so many of us with this problem and it's a major feature of the OS that is not working.

Considering that the OS has only been released for a little over 24 hours, it's probably a little early to say that Apple is ignoring the issue.

Everyone that have the issues, need to notify Apple using https://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html ASAP, so they can see that it is a big issue and they do put it as a priority to fix it.

Are you also getting no notifications? I only get one from time to time telling me about an 8 days old mail that has already been deleted. No other notifications showing up. All enable in system settings.

This worked for me, finding this solution in another forum. The Social widget is still null, but at least the other pre-installed widgets now show up.

Mac HD>System>Library>Frameworks>NotificationCenter.framework>PlugIns> Then choose your widgets that are listed. I just opened them there (they open in a separate window) and hit the green button and they are now in my notification sidebar.

Cool beans, but hopefully this bug is fixed my apple as well.

Didn't work for me. When opening one of the plugins a blank terminal window pops up. That's it and still not widgets showing.

Open up the simulator manually within the resources folder in the same directory area. Then drag the widgets into the simulator.

Thanks, that did it! Widgets are there now but still social NULL.

Yeah, worked for me! So there is the share-button in Safari left. No service - means no sharing Links via email, facebook and so on. Any ideas? thanks so far!!
