Guys, after the notification center and share button problem, now I realized that I don't have access to markup in mail. The ACTION section in Preferences>Extensions is missing! Do you have the same issue? Any suggestion?
I found Markup plugin (Markup.appex) inside the Preview application /Applications/Preview/Contents/Plugins -- opened it with the Widget Simulator and it's now showing in the Extensions Preference Pane as well as available to me in Mail.

It is an app. You can find it here:
system/library/frameworks/notificationcenter.framework/versions/a/resources
or simply search simulator in library folder.
Then click on the widget simulator to open it and then drag the widgets one by one on the widget simulator app icon.
Thank you Bob for the tip
The Markup plugin appeared in the Extensions, but unfortunately it did not survive a restart.
Thank you for spotting that solution, it brought back the share functions in all apps including Airdrop which had not been working in Finder.
Same for me
Quick fix by using Widget Simulator but restart removed all progress 😢
A bit funny since my first try with Yosemite developer beta 1 had this working fine. This time I really thought I was safe since I have gone back to Mavericks during this summer and upgraded with the live version of Yosemite.
Also Widget Simulator fix didn't cure Safari share and Finder share. And my social widget doesn't contain any accounts and I can't send SMS's, although I have made Handoff working.
I am puzzled...
I've got the same problem and followed your helpful advice up to the point of opening the Plugins folder, and clicking on each icon to open it. But this just produces a Terminal window, and still the services don't appear - what should I do next, please?
You have directions of how to find Widget Simulator a few entries above
Many thanks!
Alan
What I did was copied and pasted the link to search bar above and redirected me to the link Plugins. I red tagged it so that I can easily access it. The problem i now have is whenever I restart my computer, it will again show the no service and have to do it all over again. ***** but apple needs to fix this issue
this does not solve the Share No Service issue. Tried your tip
Can't locate the files
Tried your tip does not resolve Share "no service" failure
Thank you for the info. I've now done this, but most of my extensions are not here. If I create a new user, they're all there, as well as in the notification area (weather, calculator, shares, wunderlist etc etc), but not in my original log in.
It seems the only way to fix this is to recreate an entire new user. Is this correct?
Go to your Macintosh HD, then systems, the library, then private framework, then shaker framework, then plug ins... you should be able to see your widgets for mail, twitter , fb etc. Just click on them and then go back to your extensions. The share menu will be there along with the extensions.
Thx a bunch, it seems to work.
Restart pending to see if it all stays "alive" afterwards 🙂
