What does "Apple Script for mail merge" mean? Pages Help is (now here's a surprise) no help. How do I do mail merge? Pages 5.5 and Yosemite. thanks

Pages v5 is not even up to old word processor standards, as WordStar for DOS could do mail merge 30 years ago. George R.R. Martin continues to append to his A Song of Fire and Ice novel series using only WordStar v4 on DOS.
You know, I don't want apple to go away, but I am being forced away.
I have to have the mail merge function. Right now the only way I can get it is continue in a program that is no longer supported or move to MS WORKS.
You say you migrated. I'm not sure what you mean. You indicated you kept your address book. Are you referring to the address book in MS Outlook?
I guess what I'm asking is what address book and from where?
