App update description is missing - iTunes 12

same here. this is annoying

for the time being, you can right click on the app, then click "Show in iTunes Store". there is a "Whats new in Version ...." section that will list the changes.

using the "view in store" workaround too but i am not happy about it.

due to app devs yanking useful features, and adding ads/etc in the past, i read every word of every app revision, before i update my apps.

was easy enough to do before. but this method is going to drive me nuts

What's weird is, don't Apple developers use iTunes/iPhones? This seems like something so obvious and annoying they would want to fix ASAP.

Surprisingly for such a small thing, it's really annoying. I never really thought about it much until now, but now that it's missing, it's like, "Wait, what am I updating? Is there some new important thing that I should know about this thing?"

Same here (Yosemite). Very annoying. One thing is better though: the size of the updated app is now showing (has been missing a while). So I think Apple is playing the "give one, take one" game...

It is a problem because occasionally the description would say: "DON"T UPDATE TO THIS VERSION IF YOU ARE ON IPHONE 5 - BUG FIX SUBMITTED TO APPLE"

Count me in, app update text is completely missing. Ridiculous quality control by Apple lately.
