I've found several different data recovery applications (all from china) and would like to know which is the best?
MacBook Pro (17-inch Late 2011), OS X Mavericks (10.9.3)
1) Wondershare.com (Dr.Fone for Mac)
2) EaseUS (MobiSaver)
3) FoneLab (Mac FoneLab for iOS)
4) iStonsoft (iPhone Data Recovery for Mac)
5) iSkysoft (iPhone Data Recovery for Mac)
There are others
Then the data is gone. There is no way to recover it.
This is totally not true. I lost my data two times from itunes backup. Corrupt backup without warning.
Desperate for anything that may be helpful!

Not true. Mine is backed up properly but several months later I realized my voice memos have disappeared!
You need to back up more than every few months. You should, ideally, be backing up every night.

There is no data recovery software. That’s why the FBI spent $1 million to recover data from 1 phone, and the way they did it will not work with later versions of iOS.
